Gurley is already the best player on his team. The Rams have had terrible QB play and yet Gurley is still doing well. It's quite amazing what he's accomplished this year, not to mention he missed several games to start the season. Cooper should be in the running as well. You can have a few bad games and still win the award. Winston has had some bad games that's for sure yet he's had some really good games too.

Amazing to me that a player can miss nearly a quarter of their season and still win the award. Just goes to show you how skilled and athletic the players are nowadays that they can do that and still make an impact, not only on their respective team, but the entire NFL.

The Refs are absolutely horrible this season. Running into the holder penalty. That's a new one to me. Ridiculous. Anyways that's all I have to really say about this one.

Didn't see the game. Are you saying the refs are the reason they lost?

No. The running into the holder penalty was just the icing on the cake for a bad game.

TB just resorted back to their old habits. The dumb penalties committed by Tampa Bay were too much to overcome, especially that bone head penalty by Logan Mankins. The Offensive line also didn't do their job, as Jameis was sacked 5 times.

...Also didn't help that Mike Evans is continuing to drop passes, although the one he dropped might have been a TD, it would've been a tough catch.

Hopefully the return back to Tampa for back to back home games against New Orleans and Atlanta can right the ship.

The Saints are bad and the Falcons are reeling so those two teams are beatable.

Tough game to lose today but not too bad because it's out of conference. The next 2 weeks will determine whether this team is for real about a playoff spot. Got to win the next 2.

Yep, considering that the Bucs have already won against these teams this year should give them confidence. Dropping 1 of the 2 will not be good, they need to win both to bring their record to 7-6 and keep them in the hunt for the playoffs.

GO BUCS!

I'm pretty sure the Bucs have only beaten one team with a current winning record all year and that is the Falcons who are one game over .500. I may be wrong though.

The Falcons have lost 4 in a row including San Francisco and Blaine Gabbert. Seems like the only way you get back on track is if the other team doesn't show up. Classic Atlanta choke artists.

You've also only beaten one team with a winning record. Houston. You're being propped up by going 4-0 vs NFC East where no one is over .500

Congratulations! Jameis Winston wins NFL Rookie of the Month for November. It is the first time a Buccaneer has won Rookie of the Month honors since 2013, when Mike Glennon won.

The fan base loves him! The Jameis supporters pre-draft are ecstatic that their dreams are coming true, the doubters have turned into some of his biggest fans and even the harshest critics have done a complete 180.

His play has for the most part steadily improved with minor spikes and setbacks. The key to everything is his leadership, this kid has it in spades. Really not an exaggeration to say best leadership skills by a rookie that anyone has ever seen.

His actions, words, mannerisms and body language really speak for themselves. He picks others up arounds him, puts successes on others and blame on himself consistently.

He easily could become the greatest player in our franchise history, and I am a diehard Brooks, Sapp and Barber fan.

Way too expensive for my taste, grabbed the white Jersey on draft night. Just bought the throwback on black Friday though.

A lot of credit too to the coaches. Leslie Frazier, Lovie Smith and Dirk Koetter for leading this group of players.

I'm excited to see this team play each and every week.

My favorite PC Jameis Winston card so far. Looking to add more soon!

***UPDATE***

Good News: Austin Sefarian Jenkins active today. Jameis will have another reliable target to throw to.

Bad News: Gerald McCoy, Jacquies Smith and George Johnson are out today. The Bucs Defense will be tested today.

I still think the Bucs will win.

GO BUCS!!

Wow. Tremendous win by the Buccaneers today. Jameis Winston looking absolutely solid today, distributing the ball to several players. Threw one interception on a pass that should've been caught. The rookie quarterback led his third fourth-quarter/overtime comeback with a 12-play, 80-yard drive to keep Tampa Bay's playoff hopes alive. His 20-yard run on third-and-19 during the decisive drive in the fourth, followed by his 6-yard touchdown pass to Mike Evans, erased any bad throws he made earlier against Atlanta.

Doug Martin playing really well too. Defense was solid as well, especially towards the end of the game.

The team is still committing too many penalties though. But a win is a win, and right now this team has their sights on the playoffs. Bring on the New Orleans Saints!!

I think the difference between this year and prior years is that they finally have the talent and heart to overcome things like bad penalties or turnovers. Before they'd get a holding penalty on 1st down and they would throw 2 incompletes then run a draw. Or the offense would turn the ball over and then the D would immediately allow a TD. Now those 1st and 15s or 1st and 20s are being converted and after a turnover the opposing team is being held a lot of times to a FG or nothing at all.

Playoffs or not it is finally a relief to know that baring something unforeseen, we have our QB for the next 12-15 years.
