The problem is he says something like that and then nothing happens. Same thing happened with CHAZ. I agree with what the President is saying but I'm not seeing any action. Even here, few even try to say anything good about Trump. They only try to minimize what's awful about him. Those defending him usually just attack anyone reporting the sad facts of matter. We're to the point where we are considered biased by merely talking about what verifiably happened. Sometimes, an actual "take" isn't even required anymore to set them off.

I don't take it personally and I doubt Heel does either.

But it's also not hard to believe this is a hoax, like so many others. Just sayin' stats are skewing farther and farther away from legit and to hoax as time passes. Not an unreasonable position to take anymore; article here suggests it's even better than 50/50.

It could be. If it is I hope NASCAR or whoever set it up would get what they deserve.

From what I've heard there is video cameras in the area so this shouldn't be a very big mystery.

No it should not. Limited # of people allowed, tight security, and video of the area. Even if it was a hoax, nothing ever happens to the hoaxer. Bubba will simply say he/his team shined a light on an important issue, and away it goes. Same playbook every-time; the hoax is never punished, which is why you see more and more of it.

No consequences and unlimited media attention. From the strippers at Duke to Jussie ... they just walk away.

And I should point out, that Crystal Mangum was convicted of second-degree murder in 2013 - 14 year minimum sentence.

If Bubba had something to do with it, he's a pretty great actor, from his breakdown crying, to after the race emotions with the fans. I don't think he's a great actor.

Really?

Smollett is facing multiple charges for this stunt. His career is heavily affected.

Nifong was disbarred and jailed for his role as prosecutor during the Duke lacrosse incident. And it was a huge story.

Crystal Magnum held true to her story, and while she was never charged, she's self-destructed.

Are we going to stick with "nothing?"

If this indeed was a hoax, I wouldn't expect this guy to race in NASCAR again...at the minimum.
