I never got an email so I guess I don’t get to vote.

I voted for set design #2. I mostly picked top rookies along with Trout, Judge, Acuna, Austin Meadows (GO RAYS), Jeter, Griffey, Ripken and Nolan Ryan, as well as used the write-in option to include Gary Carter and Ivan Rodriguez (my all time favorite 2 players).

I think the designs looks horrific. I voted for #2, with as many rookies as possible and newer stars (Judge, Bryant) and Griffey...of course Griffey has to be here.

The designs pictured are old mock ups that Topps never used for designs. So, no, there won't be pictures of multiple players on one card, or wrong team name, or football players with a basketball background. These are images from the vault.

So just an FYI - I didn't get this email, so reached out to the guy who forwarded the last email and he sent immediately. He mentioned that they track the daily emails and if you're not opening or not receiving, you won't get these emails. So if you didn't get an email, you should probably reach out if you want to vote.

Not going to post the email/person I followed up with, but would provide via PM to any that need

They were. That's the OG cut/paste pre computer. It's how I used to make live bootleg cassette tape cover artwork lol.

Also added Ichiro as a write-in; as well as Mike Schmidt.

For those of you who didn't get e-mails, if you paid by Paypal under a different e-mail than you use for Topps, it might be there.

They occasionally e-mail me at my Paypal address, but it's not consistent. I did find this e-mail there.

I did this and the individual got right back to me with the voting link. Thanks!

These are just mock ups to show a general feel for the 3 different choices...so no, they are not really going look as unprofessional as these. This is how they did them in the old days before there were computers. I am sure if choice 3 gets the most votes, it would be a baseball (or mitt) as the background...no need to be worried about these being too literal in the graphics sense.

Looks like no cards of Diamondback players for Montgomery 582 will continue. Don't have a single one on the list to vote for and haven't had a player included yet.

Voted for number 2.

Dude from Topps said complete set will ship in next few months. Not helpful as far as timing goes, but at least his answer confirmed it’s still happening.

I wrote in Yordan Alvarez. How did they miss him? AL Rookie of the year and all

I was going to write in Yordan as well but Topps has set aside his RCs for next year. I think the only cards with Call Up logos are the TN brand. It would be interesting if they put a CU logo card in another product such as MC or even Update but highly doubt Topps goes there.

There's zero chance he will be in this set. They haven't put a single call up in any of their sets. You will see him in next year's Montgomery sets for sure

This is Topps we are talking about.

That is an excellent point. I think this voting is pointless anyway. Topps has decided the design and the checklist. They just will give the illusion we are voting. It is very simple. A, B, or C. "You all voted for A, so B it is." The illusion of the vote process may pacify a few people, but do you really think it makes a difference? The illusion that they care at all is all they need.
