Agreed...tepid NBA/UFC sales recently. I just can't pay $10 for three base cards, even with a challenge. The interest just isn't there right now.

Like buying virtual .gif shares of MUDS.

Outside of the homerun hitter grails and recent color blasts (which will probably lose interest and value with the next release), all I see are tumbleweeds.

Panini remains steadfast in keeping the Paypal model, and it seems people are starting to realize these are simply new iterations of the same Blockchain cards they've been pumping out for years, which those same people didn't want.

Maybe interest picks back up with preseason play? Perhaps. But the first 100 meters of the race have been terrible.

I feel like there has to be some chase..

UFC base packs of Select were fine because you had the 3 tiers. Is baseball were had a /500 tier and /199 tier I'd be loading up at $10.

Same with Basketball

I think though Prizm Baseball was a tiered set so there's a possibility it follows that and could see varied numbering like Select.

I've noticed the prices of insert singles more closely mimic their real life demand/prices.

High Voltage are still dirt cheap (hoops insert)
Marvels are still fairly dirt cheap (again, another hoops insert)
Sneaker Spotlights are kind of hovering in the middle (Noir, obviously a higher end product)
Color Burst are khang (just as they are in real life, one of the most coveted inserts of the last 5 years)

Despite the fact all the packs cost around the same and the print runs are identical /500.

Wish I would have held out early and JUST focused on color blasts. Would have been up pretty handsomely. Oh well, learning experience.

Curious what's next on the horizon. Revolution Galactics, perhaps? Please not Mi Casa....

You are right. I'm not even sure it's worth it even if Tier III is out of 199.

Exactly. This color blast challenge will have a higher print run than the base Color Blast /500's, as you said, probably over 1000.

I hit big on this challenge. I've been begging for a base challenge so will not complain. But it seems odd they diverged from the blue ice parallels for the last color blast. (I may make like $75 on this one even with all my challenge pieces) - may even complete the deni one, but probably not. The grind is real. I'm having fun with this though.

You guys are never satisfied.

When they include Blue Circles or Silvers, some people complain that those are too limited.

Now that theyre all base, theres too many.

FYI you need all the color blasts for the LaMelo Color Blast challenge. It would be odd for them to include color blasts in this challenge and then for the LaMelo.

As someone not doing the master colorblast challenge, I have zero interest in paying $55 for a Deni colorblast.

Anything over $20-25 seems like too much. Ill be shocked if its closer to 1000 than 500. Maybe even below /500.

I agree. There won’t be a ton of demand for this outside of the 69 or fewer completing the Lamelo challenge.
