Glad you are enjoy them, I don’t have power back yet but it must be close as I am finally able to send messages again. Drank my last voodoo ranger a minute ago. I just hope to have power back before tonight.

What’s funny is I bought 24 beers and took out 10 dollars so I would have money in my wallet and it came to 32 dollars I hope your guests enjoy the snacks as much as I will enjoy the beers.

On the bright side I don’t have to cook tonight and my wife wants to go to this new Sushi buffet restaurant so it’s all good. The power must be close to coming back on as my phone reception is getting faster.

Why does the baseball section seem like the basketball section all of a sudden with tons of arguments and feistiness?

This isn't the 1980s anymore. There are never any kids out playing around here.

Everyone knows you are around, they hide inside.

Nothing to do with me. Every study I looked up just now on Google whether it be from this country or the UK proves children don't play outside as much anymore as we did. Here's just one article.

The average American child spends about 4 to 7 minutes a day playing outside and over 7 hours a day in front of a screen.

That’s on the parents. My kids are outside all summer unless it’s hot as 💩. Parents don’t want to get them involved in things, I’m sure big dog could speak in that.

The MIL called last night and said she was no longer coming home today. She was going to stay until Monday and had one of her friends coming to pick her up.

We send our kids outside all the time, too. Just got the youngest bike fixed so they can ride around the block together. His tire kept going flat. They came out to our house and everything.

4 to 7 minutes? That's so sad.

Up until a couple of years ago, they had 1 hour in the AM and 1 hour in the PM over the summer. 30 minutes in the AM and PM during the school year. Now, almost all their school work is on screens.

Being reminded nature is more powerful than anything man can come up with on an hourly basis. Maybe power will be back on sometime today.

Did see and hear a loud school of water ducks or cormorants fly over while walking out with
my Polar Pop.

Me neither, still no power and it’s almost time to go charge my phone in the truck as it is under 20 percent. One of our friends who lives a mile away got their power back a little while ago so there is hope.
