Recently acquired 100+ lower serial #ed Football cards from about 2005-2008 of common/minor star players, common rookies. Talking #ed /25 to /50 from sets like Score Artist Proof #ed /32, Bowman Chrome Xfractors /50 /100, Upper Deck parallels /50, etc. How do cards like these move on COMC? My plan is to probably send them there, hope for $3-$5 per. Got them less than $1 each basically.

All I can say is that the cards I watch that are that type of cards. (just players from Nebraska).

Up until a few weeks ago they were not moving at all, some setting for years. The last 2 weeks I have seen them selling but not at $5. more around the $3 range. It appears some are being flipped.

Those types of cards do well. I've got some /25s similar to that I bought for $.25 cents that have gotten $7.74

New Seller Benefits! Users who sell $500+ across both promotional sales will automatically receive a processing discount valid for the rest of 2023! Sellers that reach this threshold will automatically be provided 40% Off Select and Elite processing fees on new consignment submissions received by December 31st.

That was in the newest email. Haven't seen that before.

Are there any benefits for sellers to use the black friday discount sales option over simply reducing the price of the cards? Lets say I offer a 10% discount for black friday, is it any different than simply selling the card at a 10% lower in price?

They cross out the original price and mark it as (10% OFF) so people feel like they are getting a bit more off a deal. People usually pay $1 per 10k cards and a 1% transaction fee for such psychological hijinks!
Edit: Also an easy way to temp lower your price for all cards!

Is my port showing the discounted price on the main page? Or do you have to click to see the sale price?

As with any promotion run on COMC, it can take a few hours for the promotional prices to show on the main pages.

Since the site has to adjust millions of prices for this promotion, it may take a bit longer for the promotional prices to show on all the pages. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Mildly surprised only about 40% of the watch list had sale prices and some of those are probably perpetual. Scooped up the low hanging fruit. No rush on remainder.

No, that is not the issue. I just wanted to know if mine was showing up. I have been running sales forever and mine has not been showing up lately as showing the sale. I am going to have to contact CS. Thanks for the non-answer though.

Some prices in my watch list were actually higher.
A bold strategy...

Now it might even be more stupid: About half of my cards show up as on sale, but the other half do not. How is that even a thing?

I'd say do. Even a 5 or 10% discount might get some trigger pulls. This is one week I don't mess around. Big discount, no games. Whatever I buy on the site with the proceeds more than makes up for any haircut I take on the inventory. I am finding some decent deals but had to get creative in search/sort to find most.

Same as last year:
1. No great deals, just a few fair deals.
2. Picked up a few that are a fair deal.
3. Picked up a few that was higher than I wanted to pay but the lowest the seller has ever had the card at. Get it now when I have the money.
4. Picked up a card for less then I offer him a couple of weeks ago. One of the fair deals.
5. 75% of my watch list is on sale. More than last year.
6. A lot of the sellers are just a couple of % lower than what they are before the sale.
7. Lot of the sellers have less the 15% off for they sales so far.
8. Lot of the sellers % off are the same as they do all year long.
9. So far, a lot of the higher dollar cards on my watch list have sold.
10. Always willing to wait for a better deal.

IMO: These sales are getting to be worst each year. Maybe that is why they did not have a Spring Cleaning Sale.

Sure, Hope others are finding it to be better for them then it is for me. We all look at it in different ways.

PS. This is from a collector not a reseller.

I was going to run a real sale but I've built way too much credit and can't find anything reasonable to purchase. No desire to really sell anything.

If anyone is moving high-end non-sports autos LMK.

I found some good deals right at 12 but didn't have much store credit stored up.

Still finding some good stuff but nothing insane.

I've bought about 70 cards so far. Some ok deals, some stuff is moving for me as well. Running a full 25% off but in my opinion my inventory is pretty stale. I'm ready to sell what I have on there are start fresh. Will probably drop to 50% for Cyber Monday

Bought a few cards from my watchlist. Tons are not even on sale. On a couple items had sold before I checked. Sold 7 cards so far. Haven't found any super amazing deals/steals.

Sold 133 cards for combined $178 in first 12 hours. Most of those are 50 cent type cards I'm content to lose money on so it can be recycled into better stuff. Spent roughly the same on about 80 cards. Cheap color Lindor, Betts, Harper, Altuve, Seager, Alonso, and some junk wax era stuff that looks to grade well. Basically a digital card show bargain bin dive. Mildly entertaining, albeit without the big steals I'm good at finding at physical shows. I'm sure I'll find more to get the next $5 rebate. Now just need to hit the $500 sales so I can get the 40% submission discount on a slug of stuff.

I'd recommend looking at those watch lists again Friday as some sellers will wait to play and some will likely go lower than current.
