I compartmentalize all that stuff. I keep baseball and football separate like any smart businessman does. Believe you me, i've done my homework and I have taken EVERYTHING into consideration when it comes to Mike Trout before investing in him even the possibility of him signing with the Red Sox and being Mookie's wingman.

The consistency, the character, the production, the 5 tool aspect. We all know a lot of players suffer ups and downs but Trout is always producing at a high level. I also feel like the risk has subsided to the point of where value loss is minimal. You can probably say he's a hall of famer even if he was to fall off the cliff this year (very unlikely) as CRAZY as that sounds.

I was on record for wanting to sell my Brady champ ticket in order to buy a Trout 2009 gold 9.5 but I was talked out of it so the interest has been there for awhile.

Couple years ago I could have sold that for 50k, bought 4 or 5 Mike Trout golds and sold most of them today and bought my Brady champ ticket back.

Very very condition sensitive. the base contenders rookie only has like 14 psa 10's.
