I can't help but get the feeling that we're missing something. Brent has bent over backwards to shamelessly delete back scan image evidence of pre-2015 altered cards from his website and VCP's.

What's back there that makes it his #1 priority?

What more could you find? A Wagner? Probably just wants to keep from emptying his bank account all the way.

I honestly have no idea. I just can't wrap my head around his obsession with pre-2015 while everything that's come out was 2016-today. Maybe he didn't report the extra income he got from the Moser partnership? Maybe he set up a dummy account to pay himself for it? Whatever it is, he doesn't want to get bagged for any of these prior to 2015.

Not sure if this was posted but I was just using VCP and it seems that eBay must have "rethought" their position on Bobby's API data violation. The obscured eBay buyer ids are showing again. Wonder if Bobby knows...

This is what he wrote.

So after a very long day and some lengthy conversations we have been given the go ahead for now to start posting the buyer coded information once again.

This card is unbelievable...
go to bottom pictures

PSA Cert #27898965

1888 N162 Goodwin Champions Fred Dunlap

Value gain of $453.77

This card was sold by PWCC to whitman111 (Gary Moser) as a PSA-ALTERED on March 06, 2016 for $256.23. PWCC Marketplace link: https://www.pwccmarketplace.com/items/1241484
Same card was sold by PWCC as a PSA-4.5 for $710.00 on October 18, 2017. PWCC Marketplace link: https://www.pwccmarketplace.com/items/1555117

Yellow circles are fiber or print mark identifiers.
I believe this is the most coloring that has been found to date.
Side of head and nose. The images as an altered card have been enlarged to see them better but in turn they are a little blurry.

Whether intentional or not ("Sheeyit"), this post made my day. All I can see/hear is Clay Davis. The only thing I would have done differently is extend it out a bit more Thank you for making my day! #TheWire

Thanks. Boy those folks at eBay must be really confused about their own policies. One minute he is in violation and the next he was being compliant. LOL. Good thing for lengthy conversations.

Well, all other things aside, this really isn't a stretch to believe

I'm glad the emergency holiday purging of IDs has been resolved!

The Doby on the right is missing its black ink. That's a fairly rare printing error.

Exclamation

PSA Cert #:42196437

T206 Old Mill Ty Cobb Bat Off Shoulder PSA 2 to PSA 4

Sold on 9/6/2016 as a PSA 2 by PWCC to whitman111 (Gary Moser) for $1,476.00
Consigned to PWCC and sold on 2/11/2019 as a PSA 6 for $5,048.00
Value gain of $3,572.00!

This card came in as an e-mail tip. As far as alterations go, this one is obvious once it's pointed out. Gary Moser bought this T206 Ty Cobb card as a PSA 2 with some black missing color in the "M" of the word Mill on the back. He then recolored the missing ink, and voila! The card comes back two grades higher and he makes over $3,500. Once again, the card was sold through PWCC, altered, and then resold for more money through PWCC.

Green circles show the common print marks and paper fibers. Red circle on the third image shows the area that was recolored.

But here's where things get more interesting. I've had three separate sources tell me that Gary Moser is no longer doing business with PSA, and has not for some time (over a year from what I understand). PSA has never publicly confirmed this fact, but if true, then someone else had to have submitted this Cobb card for Moser. Read the PWCC description below. This card was sold in February 2019, and the description says that the PSA 4 was "recently returned from PSA."

PSA: Only you know who has abetted Moser's fraud by submitting cards for him. Was it a friend? Another dealer? An auction house? I urge PSA President Steve Sloan to take whatever action necessary against those who helped Moser erode if not destroy collector confidence in their brand!

Why would PWCC know that unless they submitted it themselves?

They did some serious coloring book type of coloring on that card. Good grief.
