Todays two cases didn’t have a Witt /10 but holy cow I got lucky for no auto:

I posted this in the Baseball Buy/Sell/Trade as well. I’m looking for Kwan base and parallels (no RD). Purchase or trade but honestly would like to try and trade. I would most likely be acquiring to grade so I’m looking for ones that are candidates to send in. Shoot me a message if anything is available.

So I decided to open my ten boxes last night because why not. All from the same "case". In three of the boxes I only had one parallel, best card was a gold Witt Jr. which is a great pull based on odds.

The most strange thing...not one duplicate base card between the ten total boxes.

If you peak back through this thread, many people (myself included) mentioned the perfect collation. Not sure if it's a feature or a bug, to be honest. When I'm not trying to set-build I'd rather assume the higher risk-higher reward profile of 1 random box from 10 different cases than have perfect collation through my 10-box case. In my case, I hit J-Rod and Wander base in box 1 then Witt and Pena in box 2. I realize the color and autos are the bigger draw but I would have been tempted to quit and sell the other 8 had I known that perfect collation was a probability at that point.

I'd try to build out the set if there weren't so many QC issues with the product.

Congrats on that Gold Witt! Monster hit!

I haven't heard anything. Just figured Fire and Chrome Update were Target's exclusives while Walmart gets Gallery and Bowman Chrome megas.

Since there is now a hobby version for TCU now, Topps can justify not selling the product at Target. So my guess it is not going to happen.

Same. If anyone is looking to build the set, please send me a DM. Opened 6 boxes. No J-Rod, Wander, or Tork. Not a lot of good RCs but did hit a Witt base.

Best hit was an Abrams orange auto.

No announcement yet and most likely there will not be an announcement. With Topps selling up to a 10 box limit per account on their site, the more likely scenario is that they sold everything direct themselves.

I pulled an Orange Bobby Witt Jr. Rookie Debut in a break yesterday. As I'm still new to the hobby I'm wondering if this card will hold any value? Most non-Julio RD's seem to not be very popular, but I'm curious how Bobby's RD will hold up over time.

It's a beautiful card though, especially the Sapphire Orange really standing out

Low # parallels of rookies have value just not nearly as much as the non RD RC. As for long term value, that is dependent on how Witt performs on the field.

In general RDs are not very desirable and are more of an afterthought but having a low #'d one of one of the top RCs is still nice.

I understand why RDs aren't the same as regular RCs. But part of me also wonders why they aren't more valuable. It's a picture from the players actual debut! Their first taste of the big leagues. There are other rookie cards throughout various products but they only have one "debut" card.

That's solid AF. I'm happy I opened 2 of six. First pack base J Rod and last pack of second box was green J Rod debut. Felt like I was ahead so stopped ripping there.

Lol i have terrible luck with JRod, so i was going in with with the mindset that pulling a base US44 was a win. Watched JBrooks' first 25 boxer yesterday and he pulled one i believe out of all 25 boxes so things definitely could have gone badly.
