With how rapidly MJ PSA 10 prices are rising I had to secure one of my fav childhood cards before who knows what will happen to the price. I'm sure I overpaid at $30 but better now than later.

Bizarre the prices some of these cards are going for. But can't go wrong with a PSA 10.

Been a good week so far. Got a little card in the mail yesterday that indyguy pointed out in that thread that it clearly does belong in the Poverty thread . But i'm mentioning it with this next post because it was paid in comple by COMC sales which. The spring sale was great for both sellers and buyers this year in my opinion. Tons of poverty deals were to be had and led to these next photos.

The first of my COMC spring sale packages arrived today and aside from a bunch of boring raptors base cards, all of which cost .10 or less, had these two sets which i've been thinking of doing for a while.

The first cost all together a whopping $8.83:

The second was a bit more "pricey" at $9.76:

^^^Nice stickers. I've got a handful of those 89 Jordans but I can't seem to find them anywhere. Really pissing me off because they're selling fairly well right now.

It just says to go to a website for the total. I go to the website and it says I have to wait 10 days for a total. What kind of horse**** is that? Anyway, here's my addition for today. Paid $10.50 dlvd for it and the seller shipped it super fast. These look even better in person. The gold foil has a holofoil-like color change effect on it. They're beautiful!

Yea, I like these too. Reminds me of...

And damn Payne, not to knock it or anything - iconic card for sure - but how'd that thing get a 10?

Good eye. I hadn't even thought about the similarity but they're damn near the exact same design.

Time to get this thread fired back up. Only 1 card for me today but I'm pretty happy with it. Paid $4.69 dlvd for it. These are essentially this generation's version of the Topps Chrome RC refractor, IMO.

agreed on the similarity to chrome rc refractors. Still miss non-panini products though haha.

I just got home from working a week of tennis camp, will get a mailday scanned in probably Sunday for this thread- a rare occurrence of excellent Panini customer service awaits!

As AWFUL as Panini customer service can be, I have to give them their props on the rare occasion that they do things well.

They know how important the NT product is, so despite the fact that I have two cards awaiting redemption for OVER TWO YEARS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN MADE, I got these in less than a week in one-touches to boot. Paid $19 total for the pair!

Like the Game Changers especially...and it's jersey numbered :P

^^^Damn that's a hell of a price for the pair. I'd assume they'd cost $20 each.

Love these!

I have a box of 1989-90 Hoops sitting in front of me. Cost me $6.99 plus shipping! Time to re-live part of my childhood!

Probably should be closer to that, especially for the game changer since it's numbered lower (/49 vs. /75), but since they were redemptions I just put low ball offers out figuring I'd get one or both eventually. Also talked one of the sellers into just messaging me the code to save the $3 in shipping haha.

From my box of 89-90 Hoops:

I pulled one of the MJ All Star, both David Robinson cards, all three MJ base, and the Kerr in the last 8 packs.

That break had to be a blast. I need to do some cheap breaks like that soon. Last one I did was a box of series 2 Stadium Club from 92-93. Pulled 2 Shaq rc's.

^^^ Zone Busters ftw! That Stoudamire pair is sweet too. Now you just need to find yourself the Rack Pack Test Refractor. Should be a piece of cake

I know where one resides locally. Problem is he wants $250 for it.

Good lord!

This one has been on ebay forever. I offered $75 for it a long time ago but the seller let the offer expire.

Have a box of 90-91 Hoops coming in as well. Same pricing as the 89-90.

A little steep, but maybe you can touch it for $3 or perhaps $4 to touch him, while he touches it.
