Totally unwarranted. Never had a submission come back with such low grades. These were all pack-pulled chrome cards from Topps that had been looked over. I've submitted many orders over the past years and maybe at most one or two PSA 8s for modern cards, with the rest split between 10 and 9. This is totally strange results. Just had to vent. I'll probably crack all the 8s and resub them, probably get half come back as 10 and half as 9...and to add insult to injury, they upcharged me on one of the PSA 10s to $75 for a card that recently sold for $200 in a PSA 10. PSA is a joke.

Yup I've gotten that dude before too.

I've drastically cut back on sending in cards to PSA. Maybe they will start to listen when the money stops coming in.

I don't like hearing that. I'm in week 2 of assembly.

Hopefully mine pop in the next week or so. Seems like they have been about mo ahead of the projected finish date.

In the fall I dropped off a value sub in person at a regional show. Had the graded cards back in hand in less than a mo.

If you include a Value Bulk order in the same box as a Value Plus order or higher, wouldn't the Value Bulk go into processing earlier than if you were to send a Value Bulk by itself since they have to open the box up?

Last three of my orders are just like yours. I have four that are about to pop. I'm expecting a bloodbath.

Welp...i'm screwed lol.

250 card submission arrived first week of January and has been stuck in R&ID since February 7...with an expected completion date of late April...means that my June estimate isn't looking like an exaggeration at all.

I have a small 2 card PSA order that just had the grades pop.

This order was two PSA 8s that I cracked of the same Rickey Henderson card that were undergraded (in my opinion). I just wanted one of them to be a PSA 9 for a set I started a long time ago, otherwise I wouldn't even stick with PSA.

Grades just popped: One came back a PSA 6, and the other got an N6 min size. LOL

Wow, total zonk of an order. I mean, honestly PSA is a complete joke at this point to me. I've moved to SGC completely for grading all my vintage and nearly all my PC stuff, expect I have two Rickey PSA "sets" that I want to finish, but at this point I may not even bother.

Lol wtf, I have a 16-card bulk order that was marked by PSA as received on 1 Feb, but has a 5 May estimated completion date. Been in green check assembly status for 2 weeks now.

Similar situation here. Estimated completion of April 22nd. Currently in R&ID since 2/20

Dropped off my 14-card Pokemon TCG bulk submission to my LCS and they said they shipped it out on 1/15, and I just picked it up yesterday, 3/21.

12/14 GEM Mints

12/14 is nice, modern I’m guessing?

Yes, all modern 2021-2024. Most were Japanese which explains the high gem mint rate, but I was happy with the results.

4/5 English
8/9 Japanese

To say the underestimated using Game Stop for subs is an understatement. We're heading for a COVID level shutdown.

Do you mean shipping back out to the customer?

It's all of it, I suppose. 200k is a lot of cards. When you combine that with Pokemon and what they get regularly from sports card submitters, it's a lot.

The question is, how long does it actually take to hire enough people to get this problem sorted out? It's going on 2 1/2 months now and we're still hearing how they're backed up.

Why hire just to fire when the Pokémon boom fizzles out?

It's what made Blockbuster what it is today.

And you can't forget about Blockbuster's replacement, Redbox. Revolutionized the rental business, putting Blockbuster out of business, but then did the exact same thing Blockbuster did when Netflix came around; nothing.
