Except for the fact where almost every match now takes multiple AAs to put the opponent down. Besides, is it really any worse than AJ Styles winning matches with a forearm shot?

So, Paige hasn't quit or been fired (yet) because she's reportedly booked to be on Raw next Monday. It'll be interesting to see what they do with her.

Normally, I'd agree with this. However, in Styles' case, the 3way is a necessity. It's been 2 months since the brand split and Styles has already beaten both major contenders for the belt. He could do a rematch with Dean or go back to Cena, so why not do both, without having to declare a #1 contender?
IMO, the 3way is more for Dean than it is for Styles. I think this is just a tool to get to a Cena/Ambrose feud, and it also burns up some PPV title defenses for Styles, as well. This 3way already gets AJ through Survivor Series, so now WWE has some time to build up a major competitor on Smackdown for title defenses at Royal Rumble and beyond (my guess is Orton).
Without the 3way, Styles burns through legit competitors very quickly.

I didn't get to watch the Cruiserweight Classic Final last night, but I'm hearing and reading good things.

It's unfortunate that they were not able to sign Ibushi or even Sabre, I think the end result/winner would have been different had they come to terms with either.

There's a reason TJP and Metalik were in the finale.... because they BOTH are currently signed to WWE. They pretty much gave the middle finger to ZSJ and Ibushi because they didn't sign.

Excuse? Hell the backlash PPV was changed from a house show about 6 weeks ago. It's not an excuse it's more of a reality.

They gave those 2 a chance to sign though, so not giving the middle finger at all. It only makes sense for them to have someone who actually signed win the thing.

Considering the winner of the CWC won the Cruiserweight belt, it obviously makes sense that the winner would be signed to the WWE.
