That's just the way the regular 2001 Topps card looks. I would think they'd fit together too if they were all borderless like the Williams.

Tossing in a padded envelope (which barely has any padding) is not a wise decision. Especially when there is a box that has value and is part of the purchase. The boxes slide to the bottom of the package and where pinched at some point during transit.

Every other card I receive (and how I ship all my packages) had the cards in an Individual bubble wrap protected sleeve.

Would you ship a top loader in a padded envelope without cardboard support or some sort of bubble wrap? Same concept.

Again, a reminder that by proffering this information, you are telling them what you find wrong with the listing and it will negate any future returns you may request when it goes to ebay because the seller will say you are returning it for the box which is not covered in the auction.
I offered both. A $20 refund (about the cost of 3 boxes) or receive replacement boxes.

I don't find any value in the box, honestly, but buyers have constantly asked me about them so I keep them. But you cannot deny that this happened:

I hope I've given you good advice, apologize if not. One time a guy left positive feedback with a positive message and THEN contacted me about a missing card in a set. I immediately PWE'd it to him, totally something I probably missed.

A lot of people on these boards seem to be posting that boxes have no value, you should offer to pay shipping for three of their boxes!

Gotcha! I've been shipping cards in a bubble wrapped sleeve for the box. Just trying to get a sense of people's expectations.

If it was a small ding (I received a couple with small imperfections) I wouldn't make a fuss. These boxes have notciable indentions where the cases crashed the boxes.
