It sucks that he started his MLB career so late. Sitting on exactly 200 HR's at the age of 30. Hopefully he has a Nelson Cruz-like back half. Would like to see him still get to 500+.

Real record or not if he gets to 62 that would still be impressive, and if he keeps this up he's got a good shot. It seems like he's going deep every day right now.

I don't think his body will hold up. His prime is pretty amazing though.

Have not looked but I’m sure there is a bump in prices.

Has a player had 2 explosions in prices?
Meaning, imagine if 2017 Judge craziness happens again? Even his ugly cards sold for top $$. Not sure if that will happen again but crazy if it did.

You can see they are not sure how to pitch to him.

His prices still seem pretty low for being a Yankee and doing what he is doing now. If he wins MVP, Yanks win WS, and he wins WS MVP and say hits 65+ homers would that equate to a dbl up in prices and be worth the hold?

No... his prices will not double if your dream trifecta hits. If anyone still holds a Judge when this season is over they are nuts.

I'm literally going back to the box scores after every at-bat the way I did with McGwire and Sosa in '98 and '99. It's a weird feeling.

It’s not that he is going deep, it’s that in ever situation with runners on base he delivers, when in high leverage situations, he delivers. He isn’t slowing down but is possibly on his best stretch ever. Batting practice during the game.

You're not kidding. I sold an Optic Rated Rookie (1990 Donruss Style) Auto/5 (on card) for $2300.

2300.

Listed on the bay, sold in minutes, immediate payment, no attempt at return.

Crazy.

I will be. Not everyone here has to flip their collection for profits.

Right? What if you buy Judge cards because you just collect him..hate when people try to make others feel stupid for not selling. It's not a business for everyone

One full point ... before Judge went 2/3 with 2 walks, a homer, and 2 RBI today.

I think (hope) everybody’s rooting for him to break the record. That would be crazy, prices would be through the absolute roof.

Here's come the MVP debate... go see how that worked out for Vladdy last year. Hopefully Judge hits 60+, because he's going to need it.

Judge's WAR right now might actually be higher than Vlad's 2021.

I dont think bonds is in reach, but part of me wonders if most players would want to see Judge break it

According to BBRef, Judge is at 5.4 and Vladdy had 6.8 last year.

Either way, it doesn't matter as long as Ohtani pitches and hits. At least that's what we were all told last year and the precedent that was set with the unanimous MVP.

6.1 v. 6.3 according to Fangraphs, before today's game.

Ohtani's overall pitching numbers are better, but his slugging is down 110 points and his OPS down 140. Last year his offensive numbers alone were good enough to get MVP votes.
