Out of curiosity, if there is an error with one of the cards you sub when it goes into grading, and you "report an error" saying the variation is wrong, does that tend to make the grading take longer, or does the grading go as normal and they take care of the error in assembly?

Edit: They answered that question for me LOL Just went into assembly, but error isn't fixed yet.

Seems to be a short wait from Grading to Green Check Assembly and a long wait from Green Check Assembly to Grades Ready. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Not there yet, but there might be a backup at their scanners for completed cards. I would imagine that if any of them have mechanical issues, or if their system that scans them then translates them to orders and uploads them to their servers is down, it causes all sorts of delays. I wouldn't imagine they would let us know about any of that, though, if it does happen.

Yea in the same boat. Value Max 1 card. Been in green check mark for over a week. ETA to complete is 5/13

I had a single card PSA/DNA that had an estimated completion date of May 1st.

Since it was a week past the estimate, I emailed PSA asking about it, fully expecting the reply to be a copy/paste saying "Estimates are just estimates, blah, blah, blah" But no! They said, thank you for contacting us and we miscalculated your estimated completion date and it should have said May 15th, so we've updated it on your order. LOL

Sure enough, my estimate now says May 15th. Never mind the month they had the package before entering it into the system and they don't start the clock.

Gotta love that winning PSA customer service.

So, at least the error correct is quick! Submitted an error once it hit the grading process, and they just got it fixed. Now to wait for assembly to complete and grades to drop....

I checked on Sunday and my order changed from Grading to Assembly. Not sure if I checked on Saturday and I definitely checked pretty late on Friday... I was tracking updates past normal office hours during the week but this is the first I've seen updates on a weekend!

My 1 card oversized Downtown has been in research & id for two months… how long does it take to research 1 card? Its some BS that it’s $45 for the oversized and you get the terrible wait… reaching Covid level of jackassery

Well good thing I emailed them or they wouldn't have changed the MORE VALUABLE parallel which they probably would have bought back from me in their Vault. A Shining Armor 10 of Mahomes is worth way more than a Knight's Templar (they look the same) lol. I like PSA and want to do business with them and I'm not a thief, I want this taken care of.

I would survey that I'm not satisfied at this point and have no confidence that this will be handed off with the proper communication. I'm fine with them moving my estimated completion day to May 14th to June 5th aslong as it gets worked on but I have no confidence its getting properly worked on so that June 5th could be much longer. (the whole order was 4 cards, lets just get it done already)

I'm gonna give them the week and then email them on Friday for an update. I think?

I'm blogging this just in case they are reading and its good to put a real customer experience on paper.

The SC Witt has a small indentation on the reverse that I was hoping the grader would be rushed and miss, but didn't. Not sure what happened with the Ohtani Debut base at an 8. Will crack it out and check it over to see what I missed. Nothing huge here, but I'll take 15 Gems out of 18.

I got the " We received your package " email. Does that mean it's actually been checked into the system and the clock started or just an acknowledgement that it's sitting a warehouse with other packages waiting to actually be checked in ?

The clock hasn't started yet. When they actually open it and scan it does it start. I'd give it another 4-5 weeks before the clock starts.

This might help clarify. If you are in the Order Arrived status in the PSA website (easier to distinguish on the website over the app), you'll only see Order Arrived with the date it arrived below it with the green checkmark. There is about a month or so between the time that it gets marked this and when it actually "starts the clock" on your order. When the next item, Order Prep, is a green checkmark is when the actual clock starts. I have an order right now that arrived on March 19th, but didn't hit Order Prep until April 17th, and April 17th is when they officially started the countdown to when my order will be completed. Attached a small screencap of what it looks like to help visualize.

Anyone having the same issue of getting out of Assembly Green Check. I thought there might be a possibility for an upcharge email but haven't received anything. Today is the ETA Completion date

Also, I noticed that under the hood the Orders API response payload has "isOnHold": true on this order...but support has informed me that the order is not—and has never been—on hold. Maybe they're using that attribute for something else, but I checked my other orders and they all have "isOnHold": false.

I just got into Green Check yesterday.... makes me think there might be a scanner/image storage or transfer hardware or networking error and they can't scan right now. Or, they could just be that backed up on getting the grades and images put in...

I’ve been in green check assembly for almost a week now. 20 card non member bulk order. My due date isn’t until 6/9, so I’m guessing there is no rush with my order.

You got into green check pretty much a week before mine, and you have the same estimated completion date. Maybe they're trying to get orders lined up that have the same estimated dates? I wonder if you and I will end up having the grades drop at the same time...

The FIFO claim is utterly ridiculous…. my 1 card oversized order is behind a bulk monthly special that arrived two weeks later and contained an error because I forgot to remove a card..

The emails I get back from PSA remind me of the BS excuses I got from BGS before Covid when they took a nose dive..

Not sure about anyone else, but I’m not doing any submissions because I have no clue how the market will be this fall (60 business days)
