The cards that do well are ones that are rarely seen on eBay. The market is slowly rising for this $25K Lebron/Kobe PSA 10 Refractor bought around Feb 2021, it went as low as $8.8K. Still too pricey for me

I'm confused by what you said. Maybe you can clarify.

You prefer the Orange because it is numbered and it did well because it is rarely seen on eBay. The White Sparkle doesn't come up for sale very often. Then you talk about a LeBron/Kobe Refractor that is unnumbered. Or are you talking about the Orange /499?

I think they are both fine cards.. also the White sparkle psa 10 rarely if ever comes out for sale.

End of day, Luka price is falling - it is facts, even some of the rarer ones or better graded one(s).

It happens, his prices went up like crazy,its going to correct and then its going to perform as lukas performance/popularity goes.

Take it as an opportunity if you are a believer.

Newbies still not understanding that no matter how hot a player gets, his cards can't continue to go up in price forever.

People expecting a 300% increase in high end Luka prices in a few years at these levels are quite delusional and misleading, unless they are pumping their own agendas.

I don't necessarily think most people expected a 300% increase. They just didn't expect a 50% (or more) decrease. Then again, the hobby across the board is pretty down.

I was just looking at the last few cards I have listed on ebay. I have a Doncic Optic Scope listed that I turned down $3800 and $4000 in March 2021. Lucky to get half that now.

It’s funny watching people get disappointed by lower than expected auction prices on five/six figure cards. I guess panini-era collectors really expect their cards to continue to sell at house prices. Truly a delusional generation. Be glad your cards sell for so much as they are - we are privileged to be able to afford this hobby.

That is what I mean. How do you get disappointed with a 91K sell? If you bought the card at peak prices yes, but not likely. Regardless of how much it has gone down, it is still 91K for cardboard with a patch and autograph on it.

Picked up a Prizm PSA 9 for $150 myself. I'm on a tight budget so can't afford the real expensive stuff, but Luka's stock seems unreasonably low right now. Pretty sure he's gonna have a huge second half as he plays himself into shape.

I'm almost 99.9% sure that Lebron has never gotten a 5th foul at the beginning of the 3rd Quarter. Mavs should file a protest for this game. I blame Kidd for being passive. NBA refs have rigged games before, in a Game 7 playoff game not too long ago.
