Like you said the peripherals looked good - I'm not saying hes a 100% surefire keeper. All I'm saying is I'd take a lotto ticket rather then a guy who has little to no ceiling at some of the 17-20 spots that some of these teams have.

Miguel Sano is quickly working his way into keeper conversation as well. He's quietly been really impressive this year. The strikeouts will always be a part of his game which will limit things in points, but he's finally slowing down and letting the game come to him instead of trying to jack mega bombs each time, and the results are following

6. Manny Machado
7. Jorge Polanco
8. Kris Bryant
9. Yordan Alvarez
10. Aaron Judge
11. Mitch Haniger
12. Kyle Tucker
13. Shane Bieber
14. Madison Bumgarner
15. Luis Severino
16. Carlos Carrasco
17. Michael Kopech
18. Mike Foltynewicz
19. Kenley Jansen

That leaves one spot for a short audition between Luis Urias, Franmil Reyes, Michael Chavis, Joe Musgrove, and Sandy Alcantara. Don't want to cut them all loose, but I'm out of slots. I'll be in the trade market, as always, though so that certainly could change. I Could also end up keeping Pineda to help with some pitching depth, a bit too early to say

I don't expect to have to call up any of my prospects before the season ends, but we'll see. There's a chance Jo Adell or Sixto Sanchez could make it interesting, but I think their timeline will work out in my favor

Overall, I think I'm in a solid spot. My offense should be pretty darn good, great talent all around. Pitching has a few more question marks, but who's doesn't? If everything pans out right with my arms, I'll be deadly. But that would take Severino rebounding, Carrasco being healthy enough to pitch, Kopech's return going as best it can, and Folty continuing to pitch well after a terrible first half. That's a lot to ask. Hopefully at least a few things go my way, because if they all bomb, it could be another long season

This team is built for the here and now. Despite a couple young hitters - the pitching has maybe 1-2 playoff years here left. The spec market on this team is led by Pache and not much else so no real reinforcements coming that I can see next year. Will be interesting to see how this team progresses next year (or regresses in term of its aging staff)
Good writeup.

I EMPTIED what was arguably the best Milb system and that’s tough. Most of my big name deals actually backfired.

I actually expect some progression next year out of a few guys. For instance I think Lester is about cooked but may have 1-2 years left better then this one.

Sale....is self explanatory. Can he get healthy?

Kershaw after a rough start .... is back in the conversation as one of the best pitchers in the game.

Tanaka and Paxton (who I paid a Kings ransom for) I’d bet on both to have better 2020’s.

My offense is pretty young...I actually love the core. Voit Dahl Hoskins Seager Arenado Merrifield is quietly strong

Of course losing Mize will hurt when he comes up and is dominant. But Pache Bohm Carlson and the next big thing in Lucio are some offensive fire power. I’m not throwing in the towel on Hunter Greene either. Grayson Rodriquez figures to be around the backend of the top 50 early next year. So the system is light but there’s hope left .... and lots of spring picks

Health will play a huge part...and honestly how much they juice or I juice the balls next year will be a huge X factor. This league use to favor the pitcher about 1.25:1 now it’s about a dead on 1:1. That’s quietly been a big factor.

Good luck in the playoffs guys. Unfortunately my plans didn't work out at all. Hoping for a good off season with some deals and a good year next year.

At the pirates game and will see if wainwright helps secure my team a first round playoff win. Glad Alex young was benched as he was dealing today

Im too beat up on the pitching end. My guys have been terrible for about a month. If my offense goes silent tonight and Kershaw and Tanaka poop the bed (2 ER through 2 2/3rd innings so far) its over.

One too many dead arms too late in the year. Good Luck in the Finals Cornerstone.

Good game - look forward to the matchups next year.

Honestly surprised my team got here - always thought it was a playoff team but was at .500 despite 3rd in points till last few weeks and been on a 8 week winning run. Hoping to continue that this week in a rematch of last years finals vs the monsters.

Moves that helped me get here
Add: Archie Bradley - has been a nice late season closer and been steady as of late
Add: James Mccann - has been a steady catcher who hasnt had much negative point days
Add: Adam Wainwright - has been really solid esp as of late and really put out a solid year
Add: Gio Gonzalez - when healthy, been similar to wainwright

Regrets
Dropping Mike Folty, Hunter Renfroe

Trading Javier Baez for essentially Charlie blackmon/folty - that one still hurts. Folty didnt pan out and i overpaid for a pitcher. Andrus/Rosario is a good SS mix but not Baez by any means

Still get top 2 for 3 year now in a row so lets see if i can bring a second trophy. With how my other teams performed this year would be nice to win one

Yea you have been very competitive so far.

I think I'm going to do less 'over thinking' in Fantasy baseball this year. 0-3 this week between 3 leagues in semi finals. Lots of trades, including this league that backfired with 'sure things'. I have made bad moves 2 years in row in this league. Ill call it the curse of Eugenio. 1st year Draft him, his breakthrough year. Did well for me. Said 'no way this guy can repeat this' left him off my roster for a SP 6....we know the rest of the story.

Every guy I have sent out since, world beater, every guy I have brought in IL.

In all seriousness, I have only 1 rule change request. Can we be sure to vote on a 4th IL spot next year. With the 10 day it seems like I am always at 6-7 guys on the IL.

Playing out the string in the consolation bracket . Too many deals that went south and guys not panning out the way I thought they could. Anyways I am going to go into deep rebuild mode in the off season. So will obviously be looking to move aging guys to get younger to go with some pieces that I do have. Good luck to those in the finals.

Going with CC sabathia, Adam Wainwright and Clay Bucholtz today. This is 2019, not 2009. I want some 2009 numbers today though. Go old guys!

Comes down to last day. Does verlander and Bauer keep my lead going? We will see. 1 year from the verlander trade Reyes and Honeywell both struggled but Robles looks like a solid dynasty piece. Hoping to keep this team going strong

Great season... hoping to rebuild in the off season. As a parting shot my team decided to score the highest points in a meaningless match up lol

Congrats to Corner for his 2nd consecutive title! And thanks for everyone for another fun year. I will be allocating payouts tonight after work

FA adds have been locked until after next year's draft. Trades are fair game again now. I will get the draft order posted somewhere in the next few days

Everyone on my minor league roster is available in trade. Looking for pitching. Think I have one more year with this current core. With that said here is who is available on the ML side

Yoan Moncada
Elvis Andrus
Justin Upton
Adam Wainwright

Realistically just looking to move my minor leaguers at the moment for starting pitcher upgrades. Moncada will cost a bit - let me know

While I wont share my 20 list quiet yet. Here is who I am definitely keeping

Sale
Kershaw
Tanaka
Kendricks
Morton
Price
Paxton
Arenado
Seager
Brantley
Merrifield

That gives me 9 more guys to keep. I will dangle guys like Hoskins, Voit, Molina, Lester, Davis, Cruz, Gibson, Roark, Dahl etc out there. Some of these guys will be VERY tough to get others, could probably be acquired fairly easily. I'm open for deals.

Good Season guys. Congrats Corner.

Im pretty sure my top 20 is going to be

harper
freeman
Nola
verlander
blackmon
Moncada
marte
Suarez
paddack
bauer
Rosario
abreu
Martinez
bradley
Iglesias
mccullers
upton
andrus
gray
hendricks
Neris

I know thats 21.... So prob Andrus willl be cut off... Also hard to throw away wainwright given his second half basically carrying the pitching but his age is concerning. In any case - its a pretty solid core
