https://www.ebay.com/sch/ebayadvsearch/?rt=nc

From that link, click search by seller and then enter the seller's name. The sold listings checkbox option is still on the left pane.

It's just gone (hopefully just temporarily) if you navigate to the seller's listings from their profile page.

I checked mine from one store to another. When I first go to the store, it forces me into Gallery View with no options to filter. I went ahead and did an advanced search for my store only and put it in List View. From there, I was able to see sold listings like normal.

That's a huge extra step, so hopefully this is just a glitch. I use my own sold listings to price check sometimes. Plus, Gallery View just annoys me and slows me down.

All of my saved searches go right to List View with sold items available like normal.

Luckily the app still shows sold listings but the app blows.

It is because they let older programmers go and hire new ones that do not know the old code that was used. This means they have to create new code with new updates and glitches that screw us.

What I don't get, for how big ebay is, how do they not have a test environment? I mean if they do and everything works on their test environment, it's obviously not cloned to their live environment.

I work for a large software company and if our applications had this many issues I feel as though our business would have been shut down by now.

This is a planned move its not some test. We have been seeing site transparency slip away for years. Masking bidder id's, removing bid history,I'd name histories. Removing access to sites like toolbars even linking id's here is blocked. This is a planned move.

I feel like this happens far too often in every industry...

I do agree. Typically however when issues do occur they are fixed fairly quickly whereas when it comes to ebay, it seems like issues just keep compounding. Far as I know, they are probably relying on AI to code their site and just continues to break more functionality.

Any basis or proof of a planned move?

Just the way Ebay is. They have been making this stuff less and less transparent and are wanting to force more and more through terapeak. As I said you can post a link to an Ebay item here and there is a chance that clicking the link will not work, you have to copy and paste it. Ebay has systematically taken stuff like this out over the past several years. I have zero doubts this is not just another such move in that direction. One reason toolhaus shut down was because Ebay kept blocking their access.

OK everybody. We can pop the cork and start the celebration. I have cleared my first box of the year! It ended up being Box #2, the one that was was in 3rd place, out $255. Tonight I had a $300 sale that put me over by $3.

I'm a volume seller. Most (90%) of my inventory is sourced from card shows. The other 10% is from word of mouth that I buy bulk/collections.

I've had roughly three offers all week.

I just had seven within the last half hour.

WTF is going on eBay????

Mine has been similar. Super slow week only boosted by one large sale, and now I have gotten five offers this morning. Hope it can continue through the weekend.

Ran an experiment during my spring training trip. Kept all of my eBay settings the same (same promoted %), continued accepting and countering offers, and even listed cards during my trip. The only thing that changed was adding an out of office message for the duration.

From March 12-20, my total impressions were 3.5 million, compared to 4.8 million for the same time period directly preceding those dates.

The algo has finally fixed itself. You can see the week I am used to being punished by ebay for using the 50% refund tool. The week after that was totally odd, with almost 80% of them being 3-4 year old items. Then the roller coaster where I would have high sales then a very low day, then a high. Its very abnormal for me.

For anyone that has been doing this long enough you get a pretty good idea when something isn't right. So unlike a certain someone on this thread who kept beating the drum saying it was me and not ebay.

edit: No clue why the one is upside down.

I hit my peak inventory on February 28. Since then;

Raw sales have been 0.53% of my daily average inventory. This is actually a solid number considering I haven't been adding any new inventory and haven't lowered prices.

Graded sales have been 0.12% of my daily average inventory. This is putrid under any circumstances.

It will be interesting to see what I uncover when I update my Price Index in a few days and ramp up the buying next week. I suspect the main culprit is the raw site is more favored by the algorithm. I'm running a Penny Auction on a graded card I don't care about. Let's see if that can get things jump started.

Run it from March 12-18. I know for me day of the week can have a big impact. The previous period has two Sundays vs one for the experimental period, which can skew the #s.

From the 12th to 18th my total impressions were down 15.8%...and I was in vacation mode in the previous week. So it wasn't just you. From the 12th to the 20th I was down 20.8%.

Really? I'm happy to pick this back up if you so desire. YOU are refunding 50% of purchase prices to buyers returning your items. That puts your account health in bad standing. Your sales stopping was a DIRECT result of YOUR action. I'm not saying its right for ebay to do this. But that is exactly what happened with the known facts that are presented here. From ebays point of view, you are selling bad merchandise that buyers don't want, and when they send it back you are only giving half of their money back. That is why your sales stopped. It wasn't a random act of ebay glitching on your store. So just like you, I have been doing this long enough to know when something isn't right. But you just can't seem to accept the fact that you did it to yourself. You may have a legit reason for those refunds. But ebay doesn't care. And its a known fact across ebay-land that sellers doing that will have their stores throttled down. Do it multiple times and your sales will halt. And next time, you don't have to beat around the bush to call me out. Do it directly. I'm happy to respond because I wouldn't have said anything to begin with if I didn't know what I was talking about.

Can you prove he is selling bad merchandise? Tge items he sells are ordered by repairmen or someone trying to fix something themselves. Their returns are typically wrong part or it worked at first but quit. The quiting could easily be tge result of a different part messing up or bad installation. Neither are the result of bad items.

And no ebay is not throttling his listings there was defiantly something going on with algorithm. Friend of mine who sells 30k a month on items like the op does has also talked about selling items suddenly that have been listed a while and newer items not getting much traffic

When a seller does that typically the defects and any neg is automatically removed in the same manner as a seller winning a case. At least it was everything I used the option

My impressions are up and I have 2000 fewer items listed now.
However I have been listing a ton of auctions at low starting bids just to get rid of stuff.
