What a chump take. Sure, all but 1 playoff team will get bounced from the playoffs - way to go out on a limb on that prediction.

Getting out of the first round is the goal this year - anything after that is gravy.

Consolidation along with a slow and steady return will be better for the long term of his cards which I think is what is happening and is what most cards used to do before the 2020 craziness.

In the latest KIA MVP Popularity Ladder which came out today he moved from 8th to 6th.
Which is kind of odd because he was at 6 a few weeks ago and they bumped him back to 8th while he was the best player in February, now he's back to 6.

They finally moved Steph out of the 5th spot which he was in for the entire month of February to 8th. They moved Ja from 7th to 5th even though they lost yesterday.

The current ranking is:

1. Joker
2. Embiid
3. Giannis
4. DeRozan
5. Ja
6. Luka
7. Booker
8. Curry
9. Paul
10. Mitchell

Thank you for pointing out Steph being demoted. I get it - he's the best shooter ever - but he shouldn't even be sniffing MVP consideration this season

You have to factor in wins to the discussion. 2nd best record in the League. He's the reason for that.

Steph has been down for a couple of months now. But Dray is out and Klay is out often also.

He's carrying a mediocre team to the top.

Besides Luka I also collect DeAaron Fox and although I am happy for the Mavs, I feel bad for Fox who put on a show today but plays for a garbage team.

They're building nicely towards the Playoffs.

I think they definitely win a series and could get a 2nd. A couple of the teams out West look susceptible. Other than the Suns. They just keep on winning.

This Mavs team is solid. Gonna be a great Playoffs.

Dinwiddie has been very good. Not just because he can score points, it's how he can score. Almost everyone on the team are shooters but they can't create their own looks. It's been nice having him as that 3rd play maker.

Dallas has a 23-7 record over their last 30 games. Second best record in the league over that time frame, behind the Suns who are 25-5.

I really like this team they've bought into team basketball and a defense first mentality that Kidd brought with him to Dallas. A- coaching job for Kidd so far in his first season. Get past the first rd of the playoffs and it's an A+.

I also like the development i'm seeing from young Josh Green. I don't think he'll ever be a big scorer but he plays incredibly hard. He gives it 100% when he's on the court fighting for rebounds, loose balls, and defense. He's one of those guys that gives you extra plays on offense because of his effort. 12-12 last night for him.

Unlike the Lakers who are stuck with Westbrook's $44M contract, getting rid of KP's contract was a huge win for Dallas. If the team could get a superstar next season, then Luka can win a championship sooner rather than later. I like where the team is headed!
