Here's a hand pulled SSP while we wait. Pop 2 in a PSA 10. 5 graded at PSA, and only 1 at BGS.

Afternoon target run for milk and strawberries for the kids and I pulled this out of hanger pack.

If I were a little closer I would think of going as I have relatives in Texas but it’s not worth a ten hour drive.

If he hits it in game one yes but I don’t think he will take any games off until number 62 is hit. They will have at least 5 days off before the divisional playoffs.

The thing is, though - no off day. Right back at it tomorrow. Double header Tuesday. Finale Wednesday.

Plus the whole batting title thing. All of this going on in what are meaningless games makes for some tough decisions. Like you said though, those off days before they play in the ALDS are huge.

If he keeps chasing, for sure. But 4 points in 3/4 games really isn't that much. Obviously the more walks he takes, the more he'll need to rely on Arraez struggling.

Well the red sox and orioles were pitching him like it was a playoff series even after they were eliminated. I get not wanting to give up 62, but at least challenge him. The last bal reliever at least did that. It's going to come down to whether texas pitches around him or not.
