Trying to make plans with somebody I've been talking to recently. Hopefully it works out. She's older than me, but that might be a good thing

Couldn’t fall asleep so I am watching little snippets of every number one song since 1958 and you can tell music started taking a wrong turn in 1989 and has gone progressively worse and it’s only into year 2003 20 more years of sucky music to go.

No, I'm just commenting on how long it took. Part of it was we got jammed up on Rt. 1 trying to get on the Beltway because the stupid GPS took us that way. I'd go a different way from now on. We'll be leaving an hour and a half earlier from work today due to getting here earlier, but we're going to the old house to pick up more stuff.

Monday will be the true test when our FTJr. goes to school and his bus picks him up at 6:18.

I wholeheartedly agree. I probably have less that 20 songs after 2000 saved on my computer.

To be honest I have pretty much given up on new music, there is just too much to sift through to actually find the good bands. I think it was better before all these independent bands came out and although I hate control I think things were better when the record companies weeded out the untalented bands for us and you could spend hours in a record store. I could further explain my thoughts on why I think music went downhill but I don’t want to go that far.

In my mind, this is going to be the interesting part. He is going to have to adjust is entire mindset to be up before the buttcrack of dawn. How does he feel about changing schools?

He's nervous as he has difficulty handling change. I think once he gets comfortable (maybe 2 weeks in) he'll love it. He won't be racially bullied on a daily basis. He won't be hearing kids scream the N word to each other in the hallways which usually gives him a headache. His speech teacher will be on site and not have a Kentucky drawl. He can carry a backpack around all day now instead of having to try and get to his locker in between every few classes.

When he was younger, he went to the Gwynn Center in Waldorf for speech and that bus picked him up really early; sometime in the 5:00 hour I believe.

Off the top of my head, I have 4 cds from after 2000 in my inventory. Maroon 5's Songs About Jane, 1 from Yes and 2 from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Stadium Arcadium is one of my favorite albums and is worth a listen.
