I also have another one that was due a week ago. I got an upcharge last week and immediately said yes. It has been sitting in that status for a week now and the grades have not even popped online yet. It will easily take another week to ship if I had to guess. These guys are having some serious problems/slow downs right now. I just had a few orders checked in yesterday for bulk and they were Jan 5.

Wow, that's weird. I had an upcharge in August, and they processed my approval for it the same time.

This is the first time, if I'm not mistaken, that there is no economic benefit to having a PSA membership. In fact, it actually is losing you money by the time that you have to pay for shipping to and from PSA on your own vs the gamestop flat shipping fee

Until today, pcsportscards was a dollar under the previous 19.99 bulk charge all year (they're at 22 now). From PSA's perspective, maybe the inefficiency caused by dealing with direct subs from numerous accounts outweighs the revenue from the membership fee.

People say gamestop orders are faster than direct orders. That seems to suggest they'd prefer people to not sub directly.

I heard that orders are starting to ship out of FL. Maybe they'll get caught up enough to run some specials next month, but I'm not expecting anything great.

I hope this is the case. I really only have one card in the sub that I think would justify that, and it is a vintage card that would be a 10 so pretty unlikely, but that would be awesome lol. Thanks for the response!

I know this is a card forum, but has anyone submitted comics to them? I'm at 3 weeks since delivered with no confirmation (or anything) at all in my account...is this normal?

I submitted 23 sports magazines that arrived 9/5 and hit research maybe two weeks later. Even sent to the wrong address, with delay l, still made it

Went 60% gem rate on this order (12 10s, 7 9s, 1 8). A few pre-grade 9s that were 10s and a 10s that were 9s. Got 10s on most of the ones I wanted besides 2-3. The 8 was weird but not a big card so no biggie. Overall, pretty happy with the results.

I did not renew my membership either. The specials the last several months have been a joke, now they are increasing prices again. Meh. Maybe when they run a nice special I’ll return. In the meantime, I’m using CGC.

I'll give some example offers PSA had for me. for commodity cards, there were multiple offers at the same price for the same card:
-2017 Finest Judge 10 --> $100 --> extremely low
-2017 BC Judge 10 --> $233 --> extremely low, sold 2 at $319.99 and $300
-2017 TC HMT50 Judge 10 --> $168 --> lowish, sold 1 at $215
-2011 Trout Best 10 --> $76 --> comps agt $100-$120 with rare $149
-2017 Judge Best 10 --> $133 --> fair, although peak sales at $170-$185
-Flagg BC Sky Blue 10 --> $175 --> fair based on last comp, but prevous comps in the 300s, so aggressive buy down
-2018 US285 Ohtani PSA 9 --> $41 or $46, don't like either, want to move at $59.99
-2002 Topps Pristine Randy Moss Refractor /349 PSA 10 --> $241, not compable, but seemed low based on 9 sale and PSA 10 of other equivalent era stars

I almost lost interest in tracking all this but the changes have been interesting.

I'm thinking they might go to "grades ready" and offers on Mondays whereas a lot of people used to see grades on Friday. Or, none of that. Who knows.

My larger 54 card order that was sent a week after the smaller 22 card order got grades/offers first, on Monday, 29 Sept. Still waiting for the smaller order to finish "assembly"

But I do like the new offer system. let's me clear out stuff I don't want to deal with and pay quickly cover grading costs. It's a cool interactive feature. I enjoy it.

I finally got my grades today on a small vintage order (10 cards). They made some offers that I would like to accept. However, when I click on it it says that it is a POTENTIAL offer and that I need to vault the card first, which can take a few days.

Am I seeing this correctly that I could accept this "preview" offer and vault the card, but then the actual offer could be lower in a few days??!!

A long time in QA Checks does not mean Problem order anymore, unfortunately this is the norm at the current time.

Well lovely. We’re almost getting to the point where Assembly is the halfway point.

Question about offers for anyone…So all orders seem to be delayed—presumably so someone can put together the lowball offers ( unless the card is in high demand and your offer is in the respectable range—although lower than if you sell it anywhere else)? But then you have to use their vault service (more $), to accept the lowball offers that are delaying your order significantly?? Then if you don’t use their vault, and you choose to have them ship your cards back to you, you can’t accept the lowball offers but your order is still significantly delayed while someone puts together the lowball offers on your cards that you can’t accept. Maybe I’m missing something?

That's strange. I didn't have that on my order that popped in early September. I'll advise when my next order pops to see if that happens. The order that popped in early September, I got funds within 48 hours of accepting the offers.
