Couldn't help myself and picked up a PSA 10 Sapphire for 1225. I figured someone would outbid me in the end...but no. Couldn't pass it up for under 1300.

This PSA 10 went for less money than recent BGS 9.5's.

3 weeks ago someone turned down a 2200 offer the PSA 10.

I am hoping this is the lowest it will be...but its definitely a risk on my part.

Nice grab. I've been toyin around with the idea of selling off some other players and picking up a 2017 sapphire, heritage action and/or heritage ROA.

The entry point on these cards is still a little high so I'm waiting for them to come down a bit in the offseason. Right now is a good time since people are bailing after the ALCS. The MVP announcement may end that

Yea. I had no intention of buying another sapphire (have 3 bgs 9.5's). But when I saw the PSA 10 at $1200 with 2 minutes left i figured i'd throw in a bid of $1225. Couldn't pass it up at that price. Who knows? Maybe he has another big year next year and wins B2B MVP's.

That ball Realmuto hit immediately made me think of Judge. Just looked:

I recently stumbled on/bought what will probably be the only Judge 1/1 in my PC. I hadn’t seen these VIP cards before but some of the other parallels are pretty sharp!
