Definitely not true about 2019. But 2019 was a great product to rip and grade for a long while. Made no sense to me to hold when it was impossible not to generate huge returns in a short amount of time.

2020 has the problem of secondary market pricing still being way above what secondary pricing of 2019 was for months. Base market is dead. The biggest Silver in the product is an impossible gem. And the rookie class just isn’t hobby good.

It’s silly to think there isn’t going to continue to be downward pressure on this stuff.

I feel like this is the perfect storm: weak class, high production, no grading, offseason coming...I feel like we are close to the bottom.

I keep seeing people call this a weak class... was it really that weak tho? Lamelo out played everyones expectations... Anthony Edwards was as advertised and a crap ton of players played fairly well for being rookies... Bey, Isaiah Stewert, Flynn, Hampton, Poku, Haliburton, Wiseman, Nesmith, Maledon, Maxey, Cole Anthony and more... at the end of the day all you need is 1 guy to pop out!

Opened up a couple cellos today - freaking pulled a LaMelo silver out of one of them!

Unfortunately, it's the most off-center card I've pulled in awhile.

I'll take this class over the 2019 one without Zion. And prices are much cheaper.

Most silvers look horribly centered. Thats why theres only a few 10s.

Makes me so mad I can’t find any Prizm. Those RWB / Greens are so much cooler then 2018/2019. I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion, but I absolutely love the Prizm cards where the player has no background (like Theo/RJ Hampton). That Green/Yellow combo and RWB combo is awesome

I don't know about him but for me it's beside Melo, there's no one guy who I see as an Franchise/All-NBA player.

- Haliburton is the closest one for me but I think he's gonna end up being an All-Star a few times.

- Edwards is an athletic volume shooter, I don't see it with him.

- Some of the other guys look good but I can't see more than a few All-Star games among themselves.

Yes and yes, though the majority of the production increase was on that retail side. Panini’s VP of sales confirmed the increase in production on various podcasts . While he wouldn’t give a hard confirmation he did say that retail production has increased at least 4X over the last few seasons and hobby and retail have both increased this season from last season
