Still very early in his career, but Maxey is currently on the alltime beloved Philly athlete list with Iverson, Dawkins, Utley.

I actually love this. Nobody is treating this tournament like it’s the NBA Finals, so I think the fact that it has more of an anything-can-happen type vibe just makes it more exciting. I think a lot of people, myself included, are probably too lazy to really pay attention to all the small details of who will get into the tournament and how, but this is still the first year. They’ll iron out the kinks over time and hopefully they can improve it in the future, but I think it’s off to a good start for the first try.

It's not getting much attention because the shot attempts aren't there, but Evan Mobley is quietly having a solid season. Tonight:

17 pts on 73% shooting
19 rebounds
7 blocks.

If this guy got his share of shots, everybody would love him.

Great game for the Cavs tonight. Offense looked as good as it has all year. The defense turned it all the way up in the second half.

Once this squad gets it all gelling it’s gonna be scary. You got Mitchell and garland who both are capable of 40 any night. Allen and Mobley cleaning up the boards and blocking shots, getting theirs scoring wise. And max strus/Georges Niang have looked like the answers to the 3 point game that Cleveland was missing last year.

They had the perfect mix of moving the ball and Donovan iso possessions. It won’t be like that every night but it seems like the team is bought in to do whatever it takes for the win. I dig it.
