Holey cow! I thought I had bad taste in movies.

Good to see others out there enjoy bad movies as much as I do.

Halloween Ends
Garbage, I figured out the ending within the first 15 minutes.
Cory was the star of this movie

Very disappointed in Halloween Ends. It wasn't awful, but I had very high expectations and it didn't come close.

V/H/S/99, the latest entry in the found footage anthology movie series "VHS", is now live on Shudder. 5 new tales in this latest entry, and every movie so far has had at least a couple of good ones. Will know if that holds true shortly...

"Bodies, Bodies, Bodies" is available on DVD/BluRay for them that go that route. This was well done, like an updated Twilight Zone episode but with a cast of purposely younger generation personality types that none of us over 30 can possibly understand. Is it humor or horror? You decide!

I’m only an hour into “Terrifier 2” and I am absolutely impressed.

Ok, now I’m all the way done and I want five more of these movies. What a trip.

Is it streaming anywhere or just theaters right now? I’m dying to watch it.

If you want more Art the Clown, see his feature-film debut in 2013's "All Hallow's Eve" which is an anthology tale very much in the style of the "VHS" , with all stories featuring Art. It's from Damien Leone, from the same creator of the new movies, although with a different, but still effective, actor playing Art than we saw in "Terrifier" 1 & 2.

It streams free on Tubi, totally unedited for content, although with occasional ad breaks.

First two stories were pretty good, other than some pretty dumb decision making by the lead character towards the end of the first episode.
The second episode features some pretty good "willies" moments, especially if the viewer is claustrophobic and/or doesn't particularly like rats.

I liked the nods to the previous anthologies "Night Gallery" and "Creepshow" both of which I'm sure Del Toro loved.

I'm watching an 80's slasher film 'The House On Sorority Row' and the kinda crummy band playing at a party in it, '4 Out Of 5 Doctors', I had the drummer's snare drum stand. When I bought my first drum set the guy said he borrowed it from them at a show in DC and never gave it back so I got it.

Can confirm, Terrifier 2 is fantastic. Did not expect to like it more than the first but absolutely did.

Went to a theater on Wilshire close to me to watch Terrifier 2. I had watched All Hallow's Eve (solid low-budg) and Terrifier 1 (which was... OK) before going.

LOVED it. Gross, funny, weird. Had all kinds of independent charm to it.

I couldn't figure why I loved it so much but I think its that - I grew up on F13, NOES movies and saw all of them in the theater. They all had crazy plot holes, and constantly re-animating killers, etc. No logic, great F/X.

We've gotten so used to "grounded" horror that we forget that a film that is just out to make the audience happy is WAY more fun. Unlike the first film they spent time developing the final girl, and the movie is WAY better for it.

Bring on part 3, ASAP.

Liked PREY, Liked the new CANDYMAN, could not get through the new HELLRAISER, though I may try again.

My wife and I watched NOPE, Barbarian and Mr. Harrigan’s Phone so far this weekend.

NOPE was pretty good. Barbarian was good but really messed up. Mr. Harrigan’s Phone was very very good.

I watched Nope a few days ago. I got into it than there was a stretch where it seemed to drag on and lost my interest but it picked up in the end. Didn't love it but wasn't bad.
