Not at all but can’t forget that Mookie is really really good

Every time I consider buying a card of an active player, I find myself asking, "why aren't you spending this money on Ohtani instead?"

Wish I would have come to that realization back in 2022 and 2023 when I was spending far too much on guys like JROD.

Yeah but I coulda just waited a couple years and got a huge discount.

I'm not dumping his cards or anything, I just don't see any reason to add to my stack.

In general, even for my beloved Mariners, I'm no longer spending more than like $20 on a single card of anyone until they've proved themselves in the league for at least 5 years.

Last local show two months ago I found a 2020 stadium club chrome in a value box for $3. Maybe I'll get lucky again.

Yeah, if that was some kid at a trade day I'd have set them straight but if you're a grown adult set up as a vendor its not my job to educate you. I handed him the 3 value box ohtanis I wanted and he gave me a price and I paid.
