17 of which may or may not have been removed from circulation to create the 2020 Transcendent VIP stamped /17 cards. People refer to them as "buybacks" but it's entirely possible they were able to use old stock replacement cards - who knows?

Yeah, between acuna and Ohani, it is pretty well etched in people's minds how short-printed 2018 Sapphire is. I wouldn't think the dilution of latter years impact that.

That only remains true so long as Topps doesn't release an even more premium chromium brand that captures the hearts and minds of the collector. Gilded probably already there, but Ohtani doesn't have the gilded option.

Beautiful collection!!! I wish I had all the high end Ohtani RC's like you!!! BTW...your 2018 topps gold label is mislabeled. It looks like yours is a black and not a base.

I'm anxiously awaiting years of Ohtani+Mookie and Ohtani+Freddie cards to expand the Ohtani and Friends wing of the collection.

Mookie being my 2nd favorite active player, I will likely try to pick up an indy and black of every card they both appear on so long as Topps doesn't make the parallels look awful again.
