Most of the demand right now is being driven by flippers/investors...add in the stimulus checks and the comparative lack of other competing releases from Topps right now (2020 Bowman being the only one), and it's not a stretch to think that this is going to go the way of Topps Living.

A lot of the people current building various sets will drop out either due to:

a) attention/cash being diverted towards other releases/products
b) dwindling cash flow
c) boredom

Five years from now, a lot of these will be sitting in people's closets, and people will be wondering why they spent $100+ on many of them.

Collectors' attention spans are VERY short

Yes people are saving their $600 stimulus for two weeks to buy trout ermsy



Yes all the cash is getting diverted to bowman 2020 and topps 2020 series 2.


Yes say they have dwindling cash flow yet say they are spending all their “stimulus” your talking in circles a bit.

Collectors attention spans are not short, they have terabytes of “maybe worthless today” data. But every bit is important. drive by night flippers is who you are referring to with the short attention.

Ebay won't take the money out of their bank accounts, if that's what you mean. Yes, you would file a non-paying bidder report, get your FVF credit, and relist. Hopefully you get a higher result next time.

SOL from what I've seen. You can give him a strike after a few days of not paying and you get your fees back, but that's all that I know of.
