That seems like the most likely person. I know some stores are doing a midnight release, so I am guessing it is a bigger character.

Given the recent news he's the OBVIOUS choice.
So it OBVIOUSLY won't be him.

If it's a big character, be ready to flip.

When Cap died back in 2007 the book became a $25-$50 book overnight. When Spider-Man "died" in ASM #698, book again was instant hot property.

Of course, these thing die down and demand wanes, but there is a window where you can make bookoo bucks (Is that a thing?).. Stay Thirsty my friends!

It's not who's going to die... it's "who's going on:

a) a sabbatical
b) a vacation
c) a hiatus
d) the shelf, temporarily
e) a creative hold
f) all of the above

Unless the actual storyline is good, regardless of resurrection or not, these temporary death issues remain somewhat meaningless.

The Death of Captain America was a good story and follow up to Civil War. The Death of Superman was a generally good tale, 'tho stretched a bit too much through way too many crossovers and the follow ups of the "Funeral" and "Reign" arcs. The Death of the Human Torch was almost as lackluster as they get. The Death of Captain Marvel; The Death of Gwen Stacy; The Death of The Green Goblin; and The Death of Phoenix were all good if not great stories. I get a sense that "Civil War II" is to "Civil War" what "Secret Wars II with The Beyonder" was to the original "Secret Wars"... an ill fated follow-up that many fans and the publisher probably wished never existed, as it diminishes the status of the original release.

Word is out on who dies, courtesy of CBSI

Obvious spoiler warning of course. For Civil War #3 and New Super-man 1.
