Default Stranger Things - Netflix

Anyone watching? I'm one episode in and pretty enthralled. I recommend it to fans of the whole "sci fi" scene and what not. Still too early to tell. But good so far!

Just got finished binging it. Amazing. Felt like I was watching a BKV comic come to life.

It totally feels like the best graphic novel adaptation for a graphic novel that no one wrote.

Just watched Ep.1 - it feels like a Steven Spielberg / John Carpenter 80's TV show that never happened. Count me in.

My 70 year old father called me and told me I had to watch it. He binge watched the whole thing Sunday and said it was amazing. It takes a lot to impress him and I have never heard of him binge watching anything. It took him 3-4 weeks to watch the 1st season of DD and he really enjoyed that as well but managed to knock this show out in a day so it's on my short list of things to watch.

Kung Fury is legit. So isn't Turbo Kid. Both are insane. We thought Troma was bad lol

Thanks for the tip!
I'm 2 episodes in and really enjoying it.
Nice to see Winona Ryder and Matthew Modine starring in something popular.
I'm not a binge watcher, so it might take me another week or so to finish.

Well guess I'm in the minority. I didn't really care for it. To me it tries too hard to be nostalgic. And I am a kid of the 80's and grew up watching all the John Carpenter movies. To be honest I got bored real quickly.

Enjoyed it. Entertained me and the wife. The toothless kid was annoying at times but can't wait for season 2

Ratings have been fantastic for this, Stranger Things Rotten Tomatoes rating. 9.2 on IMDB as well.

I'm on Ep 4 and loving it personally, very well directed and paced.

I tried to watch episode 1 last night, and that easily caused me to stay up late and watch episode 2. Loving it! Watching episode 3 right now....

I just finished the show. I really enjoyed it. It really captured the 80's vibe to me. I felt the acting was terrific. The score/soundtrack was awesome as well. Hopper stole the show for me, great character. I'd recommend this show to anyone.

Hopper was my highlight as well, so convincing and relatable. I too would recommend to anyone, it's getting stellar reviews. Fingers crossed for a season 2!!!! I think given the title, it would be kind of cool if they went Twilight Zonish with it and each season was a different story. But I also need a follow up to this season!
