Default My 2016 SDCC Pickups, And Free Giveaway!!!

So the dust has now settled over 2016 San Diego Comic Con. And we look forward to next year. Below are some items that I picked up while at the con.

My SDCC Pile

Some funny and extremely limited Star Wars items

Signed and sketch done by cover artist and legend (Gilberto Hernandez - one of the Los Bros Hernandez)

Limited Catwoman Artgerm Print

Alex Ross Batman "Scars" Print (only 200 made)

A huge part of my childhood, signed by the main stars of the show

Three pages of Lee Bermejo Original Art (one of my top 3 favorite artist)
Pages are from his Lex Luthor Run

Now finally to the BIG BOYS...

First my new favorite piece of original comic art. Page is done by Bob Brown and is from Avengers #113 (Second app of Mantis) page 10, and features all the Avengers in action.

Finally I was one of 5 people who got a sketch done by the man, Lee Bermejo himself. My new favorite sketch. PREPARE TO FEAST YOUR EYES ON PURE SEX.

The book is currently with CBCS getting graded, i cannot wait to get it back.

Now we wait until next year. I hope everyone who went had a great time, and look forward to another fruitful year being a member of the junkies.

Everything you picked up is amazing. Bermejo originals are jaw-dropping, but boy, that Animaniacs poster is absolutely beautiful. I have Tress "Dot" MacNeille's autograph card from the "Simpsons Mania" card set. She's a huge part of that show, as well.

Congrats on the haul!

Spider-Man by Ditko himself. I feel like almost anything else I want is fairly attainable if I want to fork over the money.

Congrats on the haul. Hope I'm half as successful at NYCC.

This comes as no shock to anyone, but I would KILL...well not literally kill, for a Supergirl by J Scott Campbell.

The first family of marvel by the king Kirby would be my dream sketch.

My modern day dream sketch would be superman or batman by Jock.

Nice pickups. The Animaniacs piece is cool. I remember watching that cartoon when I was a kid.

As for the artist sketch, I'd probably go with a Rob Liefeld Deadpool/Cable sketch. Thanks for the contest!

The Animaniacs take me back to my childhood boy. The OA is unreal, sweet pickups.

As for your question, since you said any artist and didn't specify my Choice would be Jack Kirby. My choice of character would be a toss up between Thor and Galactus because those are my two favorite characters.
