I thought the release date was May 23rd.

I can't remember which ones had the empty display cases, but there were three that were sold out already. I bought out North Richland Hills and Euless. I also checked Rockwall and Rowlett on Friday, but they had nothing.

I checked Grapevine last night and didn't see any. Normally stocked on Friday.

Yeah, there were no signs of them there today. But they were freshly stocked with everything else, except regular Bowman or Heritage. That stuff has really dried up around here.

I went last night at about 9 and it look stocked with stuff no one wants- optic, elite draft hangers, donruss baseball, etc.

I scanned over it pretty quickly. Was just looking for the mega boxes. But the shelves seemed full otherwise. It seems like that store's card section is always a mess when I'm in there, so I was surprised it was so tidy.

FYI
The large cardboard box that holds the red shipper that holds (30) mega boxes actually has a red sticker that states “Endcap” set 5/20/2018. I know the release date from Topps states 5/23 but there is no hard street date on cards....at least not in retail. So in essence tomorrow you could see these “red” shippers in a lot of the Target stores, especially those locations that do not have proactive Excell marketing reps for their locations. Some of them are great some are horrible or actually “non-existent” until Target leadership calls the Excell district manager and demands someone come to their store to put out the products. Just a bit of insight for those asking the same questions over and over.

I found 9 more in the toys section at one target and somebody just beat me to a full display at another target but they were kind enough to leave me 4 of them. My second batch of 13 was much better than my first batch of 13. I hit a monster out of the 9 Boxes (Orange Ruiz Auto)!!!

The Ohtani base mojo refractor is already selling consistently for $50-$60 on eBay. It is his first Chrome RC after all. And since it is only available in the Mega Boxes, it is considerably SP'd in comparison to the other ROY Favorites that were included in regular Bowman.

I found another empty display but searched around it and found two boxes on separate shelves hidden behind some larger toy boxes. Ohtani ROY Favorites and Howard Orange Auto!

28 Mega Boxes! I’ll post final results tomorrow. I was willing to buy up to 200 boxes if I could find them. I spent 12 hours alone driving from Target to Target in the Dallas area. 17 hours total including to and from.

You must have overlapped some of the stores I already hit. I went out around 1pm and scored 52 boxes in about 90 minutes. Figured there were a lot more out there, but was sick of driving already.

Damn, I started in Fort Worth area around 12 and went south and east before heading north through Dallas and into Plano and then I headed back west to finish up. I usually go north first but decided to do it differently this time. Well congrats on your score! Please let me know how you do.

For those striking out in stores, why not just buy from the website?
I have picked up a crap-ton of boxes that way since my stores don't have them out.
Just a thought, plus free standard shipping (although they won't arrive for a week).
