Ticktock, ticktock, Chrome is about to drop!!!

Just realized we are less than a month away until Chrome hits, and retail even before that. Anyone else excited?! So far I have 2 cases, plus a bunch more $$$$ set aside for retail. Almost my favorite time of the year!

Kinda. I wish they would show what the cards actually look like with the auto on them, not just the sticker autos on the sell sheet.

last year they did this too, with hardly any early advance looks up until like a week and a half before the release. The one thing I'm really bummed about was there was no cover vote. Guess they'll go Johnny :/

Retail does has specific refractots. Orange(rakpacks), x-fractor, purple and there have been a few others I believe. In the past few years, some boxes had exclusive relics, and some you had a chance for autos(some people had great luck with plaster autos) and I believe a lot of photo variations have come via retail as well. Plus it is usually released a week or so before hobby drops. So there is definite reason to purchase retail chrome.

Vet Auto Variations were exclusive to retail last year. Kind of sucked as it wasn't verified until just before release, which meant you lost out on pre-order Group Breaks, especially player auctions. Still had a chance at insert autos in hobby though. Chrome is king of retail and only retail I would spend my money on

Agree with this.........I pre-ordered 2 cases with the intent to bust one and sell the other. Prices have stayed steady so I may just bust them both and start selling.

I'm just going the group break and singles route.

If prices don't move up much, I may grab a case later for my personal breaking, but I just feel like I'll end up frustrated with sales this go round.

In 2012 got myself an /10 Wilson "sticker" auto and the brochures for 2014 show the same. As of now I am just going to wait and see what Topps does. Looking forward to Sammy Watkins hunting and a few others. Probably stickers. No doubt Watkins has trouble with keeping natural signature on a sticker.

Stickers have been not the norm for Chrome, even Luck had hard to find but on card BASE autos, most came out of retail.

What is a good price for a case now?

Guy like Watkins, Moncrief, Hyde, Garoppolo,etc, they have to have on card signatures of them. Their signatures are so damn big, just send these players the cards to sign, not the sticker sheets

A tleast they did it right last year with players like Geno Smith, Tavon Austin, Eddie Lacy.

I have pulled tons of good stuff, numerous great refractors, the blasters and racks hold tons of value.

This is why I buy chrome retail:
I will start out slow


Then start to warm up....


Now I am on fire and I pulled these 13 days apart from single blaster purchases at 2 separate targets....

I got my Dolphins and I'm excited!!! We still need to find Die Hard Chiefs, Texans, and raiders fans to buy thier rights but I don't think it will be too hard since they all have rookies that will sign
