Anybody used Phil Niekro? I sold both the AS G Cole and the IV Nolan Ryan and had my bug order filled for Niekro. Pretty stoked to try him out. I want to try Tiant as well but he's about 400k right now.

Just finished my first Ranked complete game shutout with 98 Felix. Feels good. On the other hand I'm only grinding RS right now to try out Niekro and have yet to draw him out of about 8 games played so far.

That's one reason I hate spending stubs on SPs. When I got Arrieta it took like 12 games to get him lol. Hopefully there is a 99 SP with the next round of post season players so I can sell seaver and lock in a 99

I finally got him and got demolished. I had to concede. Going to have to try him vs. CPU to find his movement and tendencies. I've got King Felix down (at least against my level of competition.)

Ive been killing this event so far. 19-2 and currently ranked in the top 75. 8-0 to start this run so hopefully a 12 win run this time around! Anyone play with that Murray yet?

Nice!

Only 1 game with Murray but I was 0-4. Granted I sucked w/ everyone that game LOL but I usually always do well with his cards. Im happy to have him

12-1 run and got Goldy! Haven’t decided if I should keep him or sell. I don’t have It yet. Pretty solid 60k total from that run!23-3 overall and sitting in the top 50!

I'm still laboring in the middling divisions of RS, but had perhaps my best win today and first against a player with a WS banner. I had Vida on the mound against Kershaw. To start the 8th he singled with Reyes in a 1-0 game which prompted him to PH Mike Trout (why he was on the bench don't know.) I struck him out (first time ever facing him in RS) but he ended up getting Reyes in.

He pitched Jansen which was also a first for me and I hung in well driving his PC up.

To the bottom of 9 I singled with Larkin, K'd with Brock but stole 2nd. Correa doubled him in, K'd with Cepeda. He brought in Chapman to face Reggie and I put in Adam Jones who singled in Correa. We got to the 10th and I recorded an out before he rage quit.

I'm getting better.

Got to 7-0 in BR again tonight. 9 game reward was syndergaard. Choked bad lmao hung a curve to 84 Harper to lose game 1 then just got demolished next game. I've came to the realization after 6-0 I need to take a break. I get antsy and rush pitches and get impatient

Most speculation seems to be Bumgarner and Reggie which would be awesome. A lot of folks think the Sandoval that was shown prior to game release will be a 50-75% reward assuming it is Bumgarner. I’d love a 99 Reggie as well. The 94 has been a mainstay in RF for me. Though I have the tickets for Beltran now just need 29 more Xp levels for diamond 100.

Not to mention the locking in PS relievers and closers exchange. I mean you aren’t talking breaking the bank as far as stubs go. Especially if you can be patient but if you want to finish this program within the next couple days it’s going to take some stubs and serious grinding.

yeah its tough to get either of them right now. hopefully they drop a lot of silver/low gold post season players this week

I am finding myself at a bit of a crossroads with the show. I am kinda bored with my team. I have an amazing team, i think im a 96 or 97 overall. Only cards in the game I can't get/don't have are Trout and Dawson. Everything else is within reach.

Just don't know how to proceed. I might just make a squad with my favorite players or maybe a different "theme". Have also been playing tons of BR but can't seem to get over the 7-8 win hump.

Anyone getting a little "burned out"? Although I feel this way I am thrilled with the game this year. I usually get tired of the show around july-august. I have about 600 hours into this game (don't judge me...I am a teacher with no wife or kids and have summers off LOL) and to just now be a little worn out on it is great.

I’m kind of there with you. At this point I’ve been working the market a lot making stubs to start buying and trying different players to see how I like them.

And I’m right there with you I don’t think I’ve put another game in my PS4 since I bought the show. I’ve easily gotten my money’s worth out of it.
