I love the Blair witch films, the rest, meh. But it’s at least got a title that makes me want to check it out.

Scrolling through Netflix I watched Man Vs. Basically one of those Man Vs Wild shows where they put a guy in the woods for 5 days and he films his survival but something is out there. I'd give it an 8/10 until they reveal what is in the woods... then its a 2/10. I hate when good movies are ruined by horrible CGI.

The trailer for the new direct to video hellraiser movie came out today. It looks... watchable. That’s a huge improvement over the last several sequels. I’m cautiously optimistic.

Open House on Netflix is..... frustrating.
Its not really horror, more suspense/mystery/thriller.
I didn't hate it but I definitely felt short sided. Could have been much better.
XX is a really good anthology, though.

That is an understatement.

.....with absolutely no pay off. Unless you count an awkward scene where the son is talking to his mother who is in the shower and you can see both him and her butt.

Go ahead and hate it. It deserves it. Absolutely awful ending. It was like they shot the movie and then someone reminded them at the very end that they were shooting a remake of "The Strangers" and the director was like "oh yeah, ok." And just tacked on the ending.

I was just getting ready to write on here telling people to stay as far away from this movie as possible. It was a late night watch where I saw one of the actors was a face you remember from one of those movies he was in but can't remember that either. Just awful.

Hereditary is supposed to be a total trip

And anybody who saw it, didn't Jeepers Creepers 3 stink? The Creeper LOOKS like he's wearing a rubber/latex suit in the movie and the previous 2 installments seem so much higher quality

Do not watch the trailer. A lot of people who have seen it already at Sundance tweeted that it gives away a little bit and shows off way too much imagery that should be seen for the first time when seeing the movie.

From what I have heard, it’s one of the scariest movies of all time and after a couple big blockbuster films, is the summer film I am most looking forward to.

I read up on Hereditary as well, then I found out it was by the same people who did "It Comes at Night" (not bad) and "Witch" (terrible, IMO) so I'm tempering my expectations.

Talk about a "WOW" move by Netflix.

Yeah I turned Cloverfield Paradox off after 23 minutes in. Lame.

The Open House had potential but ultimately sucked. And that shot with the moms butt and the kid was different, was he checking her out in the mirror?.

I watched Before I Wake last night and it was alright. The ending was a bit strange though.

Sorry, but IMO It Comes at Night was one of the worst movies ever.
#1 it's title has three lies

There was no "it" the plot was predicated on something that never "came" and it was during the G-- D--- day time. Was the title supposed to be ironic?

Funny I'm shooting in Kingston, Ny and thier most recent claim to fame was that film was shot here. I've kept my thoughts to myself as I try to be a consummate professional

I was disappointed by it comes at night, but I absolutely LOVED Witch.

If by the same people you mean the same production company (A24) then yeah.
But they also did Ex-Machina and Green Room (amongst others) which are both amazing

"It comes at night" was a huge let down and the Witch was one of the worst movies I've ever seen and THE worst movie I ever watched in the theater. I've watched a ton of movies and am rarely hard on a movie but it was just that bad.

Watched Wish Upon and Happy Death Day over the last couple weeks. Both very fun movies if a little ridiculous at points.
