Such an under appreciated movie. The Shyamalan curse reigns.
A+ in my book.

I had "forgotten" how great The Forgotten is. I'd highly recommend it.

Absolutely loved The Endless. Anyone who liked Resolution... this is amazing.

Maybe because it’s mental horror and not the traditional physical or jump scare horror you’re used to or simply prefer?

I'll be watching The Endless again soon. I didn't love Resolution, but The Endless had me thinking about it for several days afterward. Without giving anything away ... given the option, would you succumb yourself to the curse if I meant you got to reap the benefits of it? I think that's the question the movie poses and wants you to answer.

Plus, I'm intrigued by the fact that the ultimate fate of the brothers is actually ambiguous. Carl told Justin to only trust the compass, no matter what. He didn't listen. The movie doesn't really touch on this until the very end, and basically leaves it open. That intrigues me.

Also plus, I like that the writers are building a universe. From what I can gather, they intend to keep writing stories that expand their universe. I like that.

The Endless was much better than Resolution. The whole concept was better.
I loved how they tied it in though.

My wife and I finished Dark (German series) last night. One of the most intriguing shows I've ever seen. Highly recommended.

While I'm admittedly a few years late, I watched "Event Horizon" last night. Badass. "Hellraiser" meets "The Shining" in space.

Damn shame the original NC-17 footage was lost forever, as it sounds like both the director & studio wanted to release an updated version after the original became such a cult classic.

It wasn’t wonderful or anything, but I really appreciated the ending.

want to watch a really good Horror movie this rainy weekend

any recommendations

my taste may be more horror/comedy

tucker and dale vs evil
Shaun of the dead
Zombieland

but also love movies like
the first Jeepers creepers
Halloween
the Descent

newer stuff I have seen that I liked

IT
Truth or Dare
Happy death day

looks like a lot of you enjoyed The Endless, do I need to see Resolution to understand it

thanks

The descent is one of my all time favorites regardless of genre.

“Resolution” pretty much sets up the universe that “The Endless” takes place in. It’s not absolutely necessary to see it first, but it helps an awful lot.

My wife and I watched a quiet place, we really enjoyed it. Movie flew by and we passed out multiple times trying not to breath so we were quite.

Not to spoil anything in The Endless, but did anyone else for a split second think that during the escape attempt they would somehow cause the original accident that brought them to the camp?

Also Spring was pretty fantastic.

Probably a weird review for the film, but I really felt like it was the spiritual counterpart (a much much more mature and less absurdist spiritual counterpart) to that film "The Lobster."

Try this, highly under-rated - Dead & Breakfast
