Nice Bassplayah. I have been wanting to pick up a record player. I have a nice set of Klipsch speakers but 1 channel on my receiver quit and I haven't replaced it yet. I use to be into having a nice home system until I had kids. They are grown and gone now so I need to get that back together.

ty.. Im a wannabe audiophile myself.
I also sport a pair of matched Klipsch Forte II. My fiance hates them because theyre bigger than our end tables, but man, do they shake the foundation, and are crystal clear while doing it.
I am slowly rebuilding my entire home stereo setup and desperately needed a new record player, as I have about 100 different records. I really miss playing them.
I think I might spend my tax return on a vintage receiver and pre-amp.
Currently looking at some Pioneer SX series receivers from the 70's.

Similar to this image below with the old-school wood enclosures. They dont make'em like this anymore unfortunately.

Nice. Mine are put away right now in storage but they have a horn & 2 8" mids with a 10" sub on the side of them. I have had them 15+ years now lol

Man I am having flashbacks of my old Kenwood receiver. It encased in a wood frame and weighed a metric ton! Kicked ass until 1 day I bought an updated Sony so I could run more than 4 speakers.

Got a few cards in the mail today that were great additions to the collection. Not sure how rare the prototype is as this was the first time I've ever seen it and I browse ebay daily. However after I bought it a second popped right up so who knows. Anyways on with the cards

1999 Donruss Private Signings (Who doesn't like the old school on card autos?)

1994 Action Packed Metal Etched Stat Leaders #SL2 Prototype

1992 Pro Set Base Autograph #651 597/980 (Not rare at all, but one I hadn't found the right price for until recently)

Today’s mail:

Bought the following 5 cards from the same guy. I was bidding on more but lost. I love me some mid-2000s Leaf/Donruss products. So awesome in hand...

This was an impulse buy off someone from Instagram but came at a really good price (I think), especially since he’s a Hall of Famer. These are also really great-looking in person...

I used to have several Dawkins auto’s, and then sold them. Since then, his auto’s have at least doubled in price, so I went ahead and got another one just in case...

And this....
