In fairness, there may have been people who bought more boxes under the impression that there would be another code in September and that it might require the cards. Essentially being fooled into buying the cards. For someone like me, I can't afford to spend the money on the hobby boxes and cases. I have to buy retail so the only value I get is the code. I'm just saying, if you advertise a second code, you should be obligated to follow through with it or at least update people on the status. Otherwise it's misleading.

You raise a very good point. They really should be careful, as it could be perceived as false advertising.

Wow. People like you should know that I'm entitled to voice an opinion just like everyone else. Calling out The Topps Company on a ball card blog to follow up on what THEY said THEY were going to do is hardly ruining the hobby.

I totally agree with you about Topps not doing what they said. My problem is that you kept a few cards and threw the rest away. Think about the kids who would have loved to have those cards.

Sorry kp, I just got worked up over the way the whole thing was handled. I will keep the faith for those generations to come that still love ball cards!!!
