This is one of those decisions that is very hard and expensive to correct if not done right the first time.

I like Option 3 the blue and horseshoe look great. If you were in Indy or are a Colts fan I say 100% go that route. Or otherwise wait a little longer on the logo and see if you have a local team you can piggyback off of, or a local school color scheme.

This x100. Friends don't let friends use bad logos. 99designs.com and crowdspring.com are two good spots to look into.

+100

Don't wanna pile on. But this is your public face. Like it or not a lot of assumptions will be made about you and your business by what you decide to put out there as your logo.

I've been in Design/Adverting/Marketing for 20 years now. And one thing i cannot stress enough is spend a little extra time, effort and if need be cash on your logo.

600 N Colony Road

Also just to comment on some of the feedback, aside from the first option the others were bone by a professional logo designer which we paid for. We definitely will be taking the time and I personally greatly appreciate all of the feedback

Also, you might want to edit your signature if you’re going to be running a business. It doesn’t come off as professional at all. (Referring to the bold, cap-locks message!!!!)

Option 2 looks the most professional imo and would make me be most likely to shop there, nice and clean

While 2 and 3 are "serviceable," neither of them project sports or memorabilia at first glance. They could just as well say "BAR & GRILL" below them. Hopefully whatever design fee you paid includes refinements and second drafts.

I personally think it’s more important to advertise what you are selling. I’d make the sports card and memorabilia more of a focus.

You are not Walmart or McDonalds so the name means nothing if its on a sign and people just see Lucky's... (Just showing size, not design)

I do like something like this that has a familiar baseball card font to it. Otherwise, though - the horseshoe (either color).

My friend is a plumber, but I wouldn't hire him to do a colonoscopy.

Option 3

I am in the hire somebody professional for another opinion camp.

I like #3, but #2 works as well. Either way, good luck and congrats!

Here is the logo I created for you. It is more sports specific so people immediately know what kind of store you have. The contrasting colors of “Luckys” in green vs “Sports cards&memorabilia” in red make both stand out clearly. Since I went to school in CT, I know that there are many Boston fans so it makes sense to swap the horseshoe with a shamrock. I also added a mustache to give you a cool, sophisticated, yet fun branding of sorts. If you decide you want to use this logo, the compensation agreement is that you will donate any shiny base left by customers to a financially disadvantaged elementary school of my choosing. Enjoy.
