Just got this 1997 TSC card, and it is now my favorite card I have!

Pettitte/Jeter Dual auto! Pettite on the front of the card, Jeter on the back. But I am absolutely goin to display the back of the card with Jeter!

I think one of my favorite parts of busting hobby boxes in the 90s is NOT being able to see what the rare inserts looked like because internet wasn't a thing, ebay wasn't a thing. I had no idea what rare numbered cards looked like unless I saw them in a hobby store or pulled one. The excitement was way better!

Man I miss busting hobby boxes from the 90s but I sure don't miss spending the cash to get them.

I also have 1 of the Pettite/Jeter co-signer card. Pulled it from a pack back in the day. It remains as the jewel of my PC.

It is hard to top this one, unless you truly hate the yankees that much!

Wow. These are are all pretty amazing! The only REALLY rare card I hit in the 90's on my allowance was a Skybox Thunder Super Rave Kevin Tapani #/25. I remember pulling it out of the pack and doing a double take. What the heck is this!?

100% agree! I remember how exciting it was to go to shows as a kid an see all the different cards you had never seen before.

Ya, pulling anything lower that /2500 was HUGE back then. The lowest serial #d card I pulled was a 1999 pacific prism Jeter /80. Wish I still had that card

I remember the owner of my LCS giving me the Thomas back in 97. I was pretty stoked!

I like dufex too (although the last one of these isn't dufex):

Stupid question. I have tons of 90's inserts, but other than looking at completed eBay sales, is there a site that lists some of the more rare/valuable ones? I'm aware of the 93 finest refractors but not much else.

Nice cards! That Big Stick set is one of the best looking sets ever IMO.

Score/Pinnacle had some of the best inserts by far. 1996 pinnacle has some awesome dufex inserts.

I haven't seen any site that lists the more rare ones.

Some I can think of:
1994 SP Holoview Die Cuts
1996 Pinnacle Skylines
1993 Pinnacle Cooperstown Dufex version
1998 Ultra Diamond Immortals
1999 UD Ionix HoloGRFX

and of course any 90's insert #d /100 or less are pretty valuable

1996 Select Certified Mirror Gold and 1997 Pinnacle Totally Certified Mirror Gold are the two big boys IMO.
