Mark it down, refer back to this post a few weeks from now. Remember that I said it first.

Tied with Jordan. I can never utter the phrase "Jordan's the 2nd best of all time." It's just not right.

Lets review Batmans and Robins:

MJ- Pippen
Bird- Parish/Mchale
Magic- Kareem
Kareem- Magic

Lebron- Jeff Green.

One of these things is not like the other

Uhhhhh.....what? You're going to cherry pick ONE game out of LeBron's career to make this point?

The GOAT is no longer determined by which superstar leads his team to the most rings. Now it's all about the superstar that has the best excuses for why they lost. What Lebron almost won trumps other players who actually won. Now the GOAT is determined by which superstar has the worst trash for teammates. Haha.

Sure. That just drives my point home further.

And thank you for mentioning Worthy. I feel like he's one of the most under appreciated players of all time.

His career didn't last very long, but Imagine what he would have done if he weren't the number 3 guy on a team.

Moving him to number 3, he let the injured Celtics take him 7 when everybody claimed when kyrie went out that they wouldn’t even make the playoffs. He let terry rozier and a rook work him because lebron is a turnover machine and lacks killer instinct to put the young kids to bed early so big daddy can rest. He’s number 3 now but will move to 4 or 5 when KD breaks all lebrons records and has 6 or so rings to go with his 6 or so finals MVPS

He was #3 on my list behind MJ and Kareem, he just moved to #2 by taking buch of scrubs to the Finals.

Can we all at least agree if he somehow can win a ring this year, he will be cemented #2 all time?

I would agree with that. Funny the guy knocks off Boston in a Game 7, where they were 10-0 at home - and everyone crawls out from under a rock to take shots at his probably upcoming finals loss (and newsflash yes nobody would be surprised Warriors could be -1000 favorite or 10-1)

Then by that logic Jordan can’t be the GOAT. 11>6.

Lebron in the 4th quarter or OT of the nba finals, under 1 minute left in the game with a chance to tie or take the lead. I wasn't able to do my search with just the nba finals, so i searched games in June. The first result was a game against the celtics, so i removed it.

Only LeBron can scrape by a team without its best 2 players 4-3 and go up on an All time greatest list.

Kudos to him.

If he is not the best basketball player there has ever been, he's well on the way.
