Oh man. Here’s to hoping box prices are closer to Spider-Man Metal than Champions. I fear it’ll be the later though.

Even at spider man prices, it would be ridiculous but I wouldnt be surprised with all the pmg hype right now.

3/4 of the people in the picture will likely not wrestle again for the company this calendar year.

So we should expect this in time for Christmas of 2024? Honestly though I hope people have learned their lesson and this comes out a little more reasonably priced than the original release. I’d love to open a case but we’ll see I guess.

P.S. I just saw spider-man metal is $475 a box or $39.99 a pack, I guess it’s singles for me again lol.

I remember thinking that the red parallel /50 of the Main Features insert from first edition really resembles a PMG. I'm excited - these should be some cool cards.

Re: price, I can't imagine that these will sniff Marvel pricing since hobby prices for first edition have tanked and the 2022 set has adjusted accordingly. And we are all expecting Spectrum to be a huge belly flop. But, I've learned to never make assumptions about any of this stuff anymore. I'm thinking $300 will be the pre-order price, which will drop to $200 after release. The rarity of the PMGs will be a huge factor though.

Remember the hype around prizm and what boxes were going for when it came out and now has since crashed and burned.....I could see this stuff doing the same exact thing

These won't be anything like Prizm I don't think, and I doubt we see another situation quite like that in the wrestling card sphere. What's the old saying? "You can shear a sheep many times but skin him only once." Too many people got skinned on Prizm, mostly non-wrestling hype kids who've probably long moved on.

The PMGs will get buzz for sure and cause prices to elevate, but I'd be really surprised if this got much outside, say, what WWE Select is going for, which sold on pre-order for $250 and levelled out at 175-200 per hobby. Maybe these start higher but I really think that's where they'll land.

No mention of PMG's on the sell sheet.

That's what I'm expecting as well. The Spectrum set is pretty much dead on arrival with no hype and everywhere is still trying to presell it for $300. I can't see any way this would be priced lower than that.

I like this. I didn't like the other Metal, I couldn't get Spider-man, Venom and Capt America signed cards.

Another day, another wrestling product that is going to be pumped to the moon without any basis for it. Meanwhile, Prizm is approaching $200 a box after being as high as
$1,500. People just won't learn.

I'll believe it when I see it, I think so many pumpers got burned with Prizm that they won't ever be back for a wrestling product. Especially since AEW sets don't really have a 'must have' rookie or legend. This box will still be on the expensive side as wrestling fans will be excited about it, but I don't think we'll see pumping and boxes as far over retail as Prizm. Unless The Rock signs for a wrestling set in the future, then all bets are off.

Like paper AEW and Spectrum, anyone who opens this at $150+ a box is bound to get fleeced. If this is $500 or more, people deserve to get cleaned out for not learning their lesson already.

Really, $150/box sounds like a bad idea to you?

I can see anything over 300 being too much but 150 sounds like a great price.

I'll gladly buy this all day every day for $150.....But it won't ever hit that....Feel free to reply later on when it does....I'll be waiting debbie downer!

Comparing this product to the overhyped and flooded prizm garbage is absurd

What this product has that prizm doesn't have is the PMG cards.....Look at all of the other Metal Universe products across the board and what box prices are selling for.....I imagine this will be the same.....That alone separates it from that prizm trash....Plus all of the other inserts, autos, and other stuff that's added.....And i imagine this product will be more limited than prizm

Have a nice day!....Carry on!
