Still no guaranteed auto, but at least we will have Kabooms to chase in addition to Galactics. Hopefully box prices stay reasonable. The affordability of this set was what made it one of the most fun wrestling rips last year.

Oh nice Kabooms are a welcome surprise, might tempt me to get a case. That Rock is gonna pull a pretty Penny.

The Kabooms would have been better with a pic of them performing their finisher.

Who is picking these pictures?

The Rock Kaboom is terrible and that Undertaker pose with the auto is lacking as well...

I know it’s a big deal, but what are the kabooms exactly? Rare unnumbered insert?

Correct. Unnumbered case hits which typically sell very well on the secondary market.

I'd definitely splurge on these for the Kaboom hunt if it's the price of 2022 Revo

Presale at $100. Kabooms don't make that big of a difference. I'll wait till they're closer to 2022 price.

Could be a sleeper this year depending on ink they get in the mix.

I greatly enjoyed it last year. But as with all Panini products they need some good fresh ink to really boost interest and not have prices tank. There are only so many Taker/SCSA/Hogan etc autos you can produce before you over saturate the market (and they are well on their way of doing so.

It wasn't my favorite set last year but it had some nice stuff so like usual I'll try to get stuff for my people on eBay etc.

Hopefully the checklist is kind to me.

I opened a case of 2022 for around $1000 before prices dipped even further and had a blast.

Mock ups look better to me IMO (the Rock Kaboom not withstanding) so I'll definitely be looking for another case once its discounted.

But I wonder if the first WWE Kabooms will prop up the price for a while.

maybe a newb question, but why do they do this inner/master case configuration?

Why is a 16 box case broken down into (2) 8-box inner cases?

Probably for logistics and sales.

Some people want to buy a case or a perceived case which an inner would still be. Where as might be harder to sale cases when you have to buy 16 every time. Same logic applied to all cards.

But also, and likely a big component is the shipping. I deal a lot in other collectibles where they double box to help prevent damage. The price of the extra boxes vs. the dealing with damage returns outweighs the cost in extra boxes.

ESPECIALLY when shipping international.

Very much looking forward to the checklist this week; I bet these will level off at $80 soon and will be a fun rip. These and Chronicles were my two favs from last year.

Looks like it's been bumped to June 7 from all sites I've looked at, so we'll probably be waiting on the checklist a few weeks longer...

That's odd, cardboardconnection and Beckett still say May 17th.

So 4 days before the pushed back release and we still don't have a checklist?

Is that normal or does that mean it will be delayed a second time?

Well the new date is next week, and unfortunately no, this isn't new. I wouldn't expect it until this weekend at the earliest.
