1998/1999 WCW/NWO autograph card values?
Hi folks - long time lurker making my first post.
What's the story with values on the 1998/1999 WCW/NWO autographs? I see them for sale from time to time on feeBay, but usually it's a case of the big names having huge BINs or of people selling commons that no one seems to want. I ask because I have several dozen and was hoping to get a ballpark guess as to their value. Are these listed in any type of price guide? If not, is there a consensus on a range of values - like certain ones are over $100, $50-100, etc.? Any thoughts would be appreciated. In case it matters, the "biggies" I have are Benoit, E. Guerrero, Hennig, Hart, and Sting, plus other "RIP" guys (Bigelow, Bryan Adams). |

It honestly just depends on the day the card is listed...the prices range so much...but most of the bigger names stay in the same range. The WCW Autograph collectors are a very passionate group (including myself)
Sent you a pm But here are the Usuall selling ranges on the "bigger names" you have: Beniot: $120-150 Guerrero $150 Henning $150-200 Hart $100-125 Sting 125-175 Bigelow 75-90 Adams 40-60 Hope that helps...some of the "lesser" named guys can command huge money if they have not come to auction in a while or you have a few people bidding trying to complete their set.... |

There actually is a price guide for wrestling cards now, here's a link to where you can buy it:
The Wrestling Card Price Guide | 2010 Premiere Edition As with all printed guides, it's really a matter of what people are willing to pay, but the guide is worthwhile to look at and own. *And no, I am not associated with the guide in any way other than I bought one and happen to talk with the guy that made it once in awhile* |

Beckett prices them in their Sports Monthly magazines.

Benoit definitely goes higher than 150 a lot of the time now. His Chrome WWE one brings nearly 100 nowadays.

also, anymore there really are no commons in this set. The refs sell minimum $12 and everyone else is at least $20. Lizmark used to be a $20 card and earlier this year he brought over $60. The commons are the ones who fluctuate in price greatly. I have seen Alex Wright go for $50 one month and over $200 the next. Beckett has no idea the value of these. They list Psychosis as a common but have Lodi at $40. Most of the time I sell any Lodis I get for $25 and have sold Psychosis for $60-$75

There's usually a huge spike once these guys die (which sadly happens all too often and too young), but those guys still usually settle pretty high.
Have a quick question - I have one of the "unreleased" Mikey Whipwreck WCW autos. I'll never sell it, but anyone know it's value? I paid $20 for it at least 10 years ago and the seller had a lot more he had offered me, sorry I didn't bite on all of them because I now know how rare it is.

british bulldog, bookter t, ric flair, rey mysterio?
Only saw the bulldog once a couple years ago on ebay in a random lot of the autos. booker t i have seen a few times but mostly a long time ago. flair probably only has the one auto card out there that has surfaced. mysterio has 50 wcw autos out there that were done at a signing and were signed in various colors and variations. Those show up 2-3 times a year. Last edited by geoffyb; 09-29-2011 at 07:54 AM. |

thanks, the other la parka is for a friend of mine who never uses any boards. i need to find out how many versions of the hak auto exist. i know of at least 4.
Those other 4 autos may show up one day but who knows what they will bring. I bet a lot of those things are floating around flea markets. |

This is such an incredible set. I wish Topps would make a WWE set just like it. Get the old guys in there as well, make it over 100 cards.

you probably had them through the nitro set. the 99 embossed set was the latest one and had a couple bigger names like lex luger, buff bagwell, and steve regal but was lacking the superstars. every box of embossed had an auto, even the retail ones.

Aw man, that Ultimo Dragon is beyond sweet, looks like I'm going have to start a new collection, getting a little bored with the current stuff I'm collecting anyway
