Psshh....that's nothing. I played every sport my school offered and lettered and captained every single one of them. I died seven times on the field/court/rink and was revived every time and never missed a practice.

I blew out my knee though and that's why I never went pro. But dude, I TOTALLY could have.

Unfortunately I chose the wrong sport as I played Soccer 4 years, but I hated the varsity coach and he just sucked the fun out of the game for me. Had the chance to play in college but after playing for that coach, I just didn't enjoy playing the game anymore.

Baseball was my best sport growing up and is my biggest regret for not playing it my junior and senior years. My mom wouldn't let me play as a freshman because my grades weren't high enough of her liking during soccer season that year. Then as a sophomore I went to all the winter Saturday practices, they asked where I was the year before and told me I all but had a starting spot locked up (I was a very good baseball player as a kid).

Then the week before tryouts I broke my hand during my indoor soccer championship game and was in a cast for 3 months. Then just didn't feel like trying out for the first time as a junior and I still regret it to this day.

Also was the kicker for the freshman football team, another thing I wish I stuck with as I could kick a soccer ball a mile and was able to hit 38 yard FG as a freshman, when I was still only 4'10" 80 lbs. Rather certain that had I stuck with that, I could have kicked for at least a small college after I grew a foot and 75 lbs by the time I graduated HS. I use to take all of my soccer teams free kicks, goal kicks, and corners because I had a huge leg

My buddy and I actually set school records in varsity basketball. Junior year we became the first two people in school history to get cut from the team. Senior year we became the first two people in school history to get cut from the team twice.

Unfortunately, this is a true story

Football for Four years (Guard, Tackle, Nose Guard, LB, Wedgebuster on Kickoffs, K, Punter, FB, RB)
Wrestling for One year (undersized heavyweight, miserable experience, great memories, but man did it suck)
Track for Three years (shot put, discus, thrower's sprint [not an actual event lol, still fun since I won it all the time])

Thought about trying out for Baseball and our Club Lacrosse team.

Football - varsity 3 years de/OG (mainly pulling/trapping guard)
Track - 2 years shot put/discus. Third in conference shot put
Basketball - 4 years church league - church league all-stars (including myself) defeating my first team HS team

And we called it the fat boy relay. 👍

The first time I heard the announcer "Big boy relay" I thought he was kidding and then I saw the field guys get on the track. They were surprisingly pretty fast.

You never won a state title though. You don't amount to anything on here then. You suck. I'm going to call you Terribly Tommy now.

For all XC Runners: What were your workouts and what was your PR for 5k and/or 10k

Also has anyone ran a half marathon? I did my first one at age 15. Took 1:45 Avg Pace 8:02 had never ran more than 10 miles so if was surprised that I completed. It was the San Antonio Rock'N'Roll Marathon.

I played everything for at least one season.

I was best at track though. I was a sprinter and jumper. I made it to state in a few events and held a few school records.
