Default What Sport did you play in HS?

Seeing the football thread and how some people said they played it back in the day I decided to start this thread:

Currently a Junior
Cross Country/Track
JV first 2 years in XC, Varsity last year in track. Varsity this year (well for xc as I'm not sure yet if I'll be varsity for track.)
Mile time 5:02 (still haven't broken 5.)
Texas 6A Program (Was 5A last year, but they bumped everyone up one A)

Texas has some pretty good tennis players. May I ask how tall you are? (As my friend who is in varsity tennis is like 5'2 . I thought it was pretty crazy how he could be so good at that height.)

I went to a small private school, but I lettered in Soccer, Basketball, and Baseball. I was the Captain of the Soccer and Baseball teams (even though, I now coach Basketball). Ahh, the good ol' Uncle Rico days.

Lucky! Lol, how would y'all fare against the competition though? (As the private schools in my town are only good in middle school, but are absolutely terrible in HS as most of the kids end up going to regular high schools.)

We were pretty competitive, since we were the only private school in our city. We had to travel about 45 minutes for every away game. Our basketball team got to the CIF Semis my Freshman year, but then struggled in the playoffs after that year.

Our schools athletics are so competitive. There were 75 kids that tried out for the baseball team

Plus you have to get up at 6 AM everyday to practice... When it's that grueling it isn't even fun anymore.

Bowling for 3 years. I made it by default though and even though my average is like 125 I still had a blast

Freshman Year: Football
Sophomore Year: Nothing
Junior Year: Football / City League basketball
Senior Year: Lacrosse / City league basketball

I absolutely loved lacrosse and I wish I would have started playing as a freshman.

Baseball and football here. Our private schools tend to be vastly superior to our public schools as far as major sports go.

Baseball and basketball, then quit as a junior due to lack of playing time and ran cross country. Did alright, so ran track and almost won the district title in the 800 meters. Wound up running in college and still do it to this day as part of a local racing team.
Best mile 4:28, although my 1500 equilvalent of 4:04 would've been faster.

What time did you run? Mid 1:50? A lot of basketball players end up being good runners. My brother is running in a D2 college right now and I will probably do the same.
