Thoughts on hockey playoffs

Hey guys im gonna be betting on some hockey tonight and was really looking for thoughts on the hockey series games let me know what you guys think!

I'm a big Hawks fan, but something tells me that Detroit is going to take it.

Bet the odds, not the teams, which means always bet the underdog.

Too much of hockey is luck (i.e. deflections, rebounds, penalty calls, etc.), so there is no point in betting based on who you think is the better team.

Underdogs probably win more games in hockey than in any other sport.

Yup, typical Boston team. One minute they're down 1-4 in Game 7 of the 1'st round, and the next they're up 2 games to 0 on the Rangers in the 2'nd round. I don't try to understand them, I just watch them.

And that's playing (3) Rookie defenseman who had a combined 3 games experience in playoff hockey, prior to the series beginning.

They are playing very well, and one of the few teams left that can roll out 4 soild lines!!

You guys always seem to bring up the rookies. Your three rookies are doing better then the guys on your team that have been there to whole year so stop talking about the rookies lol.

Yeah your playing well I never said you weren't, all I said was that the Rangers aren't playing well. Hopefully Boston finds a different team in NY.

You don't think having Seidenberg out of the lineup is not a problem then you have not seen many B's games, he is our 2nd best defenseman after all. And the issue of always bringing up the rookies it's only been 2 games so I think it is very relevent!
Not having Seidenberg is like taking Girardi out of your lineup.....LOL, aah sorry that might not be the best comparison today!

Seidenberg is by far our 2nd best defenseman and yes winning in the playoffs with 3 Rookies on 'D' is HUGH!! And I don't think anyone here has said this series I'd over, we here in Boston are used to 7 game series .

Not that my thoughts will be worth much, but I've always liked the Blackhawks, it's what my family growing up always watched. I watched the playoffs couple years ago when they one and thought it would good. I've watched most games this playoff series and just can't get over this game of hockey. I truely never paid attention before, but I must say I am hooked now. The game the other night that went to double OT, was great. I was on the edge of the couch the entire game. Maybe it's because I'm new to hockey. But I gotta say I think it's the best sporting event for entertainment purposes on tv right now.
