Do you think they'll be back in stock for black friday? I've been calling around and even though many stores say "not until christmas"... I asked and a few stores have said that they will have em for black friday?

What do you guys think?

There won't be any deals on them for Black Friday. But there will be shipments in at stores before Christmas. You should see restocks maybe even as early as this coming week.

The whole rumor was that if you didn't preorder or wait in line on release day, you won't be getting a console until the new year. Idk where that started or by who..but at my Target we anticipate plenty of shipments of both new consoles before the end of the year.

Yeah, I didn't mean deals... I just meant they'll have em instock... and much more than the midnight release since there's no preorders...

Yea definitely. That's what I was referring to.

I was just throwing in the bit about no Black Friday deals because I've seen a few people mention about getting them on Black Friday or info about deals on them.

I heard you can reserve in-store products by going to the best buy website?

This employee told me that if it says available i can have them hold it in store for me?

Id imagine if it's available online he's referring to the "Ship to store" or "Store pickup" option. But idk if that would become available anytime soon.

If you have a specific store that's close to you, I'd just call and see if they'll let you know when their truck days are so you'll know when to call to see if they got any in.

At the Target I'm at we get trucks 3 days a week. So more PS4's could come in on any truck day. So by store opening at 8am, we'd know if we got some in stock and could inform anybody that comes in.

Id try Costco if that one guy was telling the truth and they really got in 100+ consoles. I find it hard to believe a Costco would get in that many, but worth a shot.

The servers are still not up for me.

The games take alot of space (40GB plus). It downloads the game and it can than be played. I thought at that size you wouldn't need the disk but apparently I think you still do.

Overall good system.

Damn 40 GBs! How big is the hdd or does it save to a cloud or something?

I can't get on PSN.

But I did play some Madden.

The game feels almost EXACTLY like the last gen version to me. The graphics look slightly improved, but nothing ground breaking. If you played it on the 360 or PS3, you aren't getting anything special with the next gen version.

My biggest concern with getting the PS4 was the controller. After playing with the thing, it is a HUGE improvement over the Dual Shock 3. I would say this thing in finally on par with the Xbox 360 controller in terms of comfort and feel. Nice job with the sticks, Sony.

When I can finally log on to PSN, I will comment on the Remote play with the Vita. I guess you can't connect it until you get on PSN for whatever reason. I really want to try that feature out.

HDD is 500 GB. Nice thing is, it is user upgradable with just a standard HDD.
