Forget about who is deserving. We want offensive only players in the all star game even though year in year out we complain that the all star game is unwatchable because nobody plays defense. |

Drummond not there but Horford and Love are, what a joke. Drummond beats Horford in every stat except assists - and he's averaging a career best in that too. Love may not even be wanted on his own team, but gets to be an All-Star? Come on.

Glad someone else sees this, what a joke

People still don't get that coaches pick guys on winning teams above stats if its close at all.
Detroit isn't a playoff team at the moment so Drummond isn't getting in even over Whiteside. The Heat were snubbed the most being a top 4 team in the east, but they are the cast of overachieving misfits so it kind of makes sense. |

It's an All-Star game, Draymond is a STAR, it makes perfect sense that a top 15 player is playing in the All-Star game.

Not at all. CJ is a great player, Klay is better.

Love has been incredible up until this past week. Drummond? Who cares. Dray Green deserves his spot. I wouldn't cry if he missed out but to say others should have gotten in over these guys? Nah

CJ has him beat in virtually every offensive category.
Defensively? He's probably better. But Klay is far from the touted lockdown 2 guard that he was several years ago. I'd say its more the Warriors phenomena that got him in. |

I’m taking Paul George over Draymond without blinking

I'm guessing that's what Russ was talking about in regards to PG missing out and GS having 4 guys in.
It's a fair argument.

Players putting up the best numbers? Obviously not. Players people are more excited to see? Obviously not. Players important to their teams, who aren't putting up huge numbers and aren't super exciting to watch? Apparently! |

Sook all you want (it is what you're best at) but dudes miss out every year. Love is consistently 20 and 10. Horford is a better player than Drum and on the tean with the best record in the East. He deserves to be in. Looking forward to more tears from you. Thank christ OKC started winning games or the place would be flooded.

I mean, players like Booker, George, Whiteside for example could also fit the points I made but yeah, bring it solely back to who I specifically mentioned so you can be your usual pompous self. Sure. |

Drum has better stats than Horford, which means nothing when one guy is playing a role on a 1 seed compared to another that has the whole offense revolve around him and they're playing less than .500 ball. Whiteside isn't even the reason the Heat are winning, he's missed bulk time and Horford is better than him too. Your post is very you though. Constant tears. Always.

Obviously they're factoring in team records when choosing the all stars, Kristaps being the exception although his hot start probably did enough. I have no issue with the selections.
You really think they vote based on what the players can bring to the All Star game? Really? |

I didn't realise All-Star berths were limited only to those who play for good teams. Probably why Lou didn't have a chance, huh. Who exactly wants to watch Horford at the All-Star game btw? |

Lou missed out to Lillard. As if they're gonna let a flash in the pan like Lou get in over him. He's ballin but will go back to 6th man duties next season. What does Drum bring to the table over Horford? Nothing. Drum doesn't bring anything Horford doesn't. Of course the better player on the better team gets in. All day.

I don't like Lou, I don't think he deserved it anyway. You seem to have missed the overall point though. As for what does Drum bring over Horford? More points. More rebounds. More blocks. More steals. More dunks... |

Drum gets you a measly point more. But shoots more, has a worse percentage from the line, turns it over more, assists less, they block and steal similar, you're reaching there. You get more rebounds and that's about it, oh and more losses generally. Whoopedy doo as you would say. There's hardly an overwhelming case that Drummond was screwed. Now go to bed and sleep it off, there will be something to upset you tomorrow I'm sure. Maybe Westbrook will win another game for OKC but shoot too much. That usually sets you off.

Paul George is the best defensive player this year, and 20.9PG 3.0APG & 5.6RPG on average...

Hell C. Paul didn't even get a look in and he's been pretty incredible, same with Griffin.
